Endometriosis is a disease in which tissue that is similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside it, including on surfaces in the abdominal cavity, ovaries, bladder, re**um and abdominal/pelvic walls.

The World Health Organization reports that at least 190 million women and girls of reproductive age worldwide are affected. Endometriosis diagnosis can take years as symptoms can be confused with conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome or pelvic inflammatory disease.

In our latest blog we explain how osteopathy can help you if you suffer from endometriosis and what benefits you can expect from receiving osteopathic treatment.

At reception, we are so much more than a bunch of pretty faces!

Alongside rebooking you with your favourite osteo, rearranging your physio appointment, chasing your whereabouts when you are running late, and entertaining you with our witty banter, we aim to facilitate your initial journey with us if you haven’t been to the clinic before (or even if you have, and need new advice). This means that when you call us we’ll have a brief chat with you, to try and assess what kind of treatment would suit you best, and with whom.

In short, on your path to better health, we are your first, middle and occasionally last port of call, so let’s get talking!

Hallux valgus is a positional deformity of the big toe in which the toe deviates toward the other toes and risks triggering the development of a bunion (which can become painful, red and inflamed further worsening your gait and triggering other areas of pain).

We treat lots of patients with toe, foot, lower leg and knee symptoms, ranging from stiffness and pain to weakness and gait problems. There are many causes for these symptoms but weak leg and foot musculature are almost always an underlying cause.

In our latest blog we explain how osteopathy and physiotherapy can help manage hallux valgus and its symptoms.

We look at the core stability of the foot and the role of physiotherapy and osteopathy in hallux valgus, pronation and pes planus (flatfoot)
