Meadowhill at Fun in the Park! ✨🌳

We had a wonderful time at Radlett’s Fun in the Park event, organised by the amazing InspireAll.

Park Events part of InspireAll operates free, large-scale community events in the Hertsmere parks in partnership with Hertsmere Borough Council.

It was great to meet so many lovely people, share what Meadowhill has to offer, and talk about the care, community, and comfort we have to offer our residents. 💙

Our home came to life with colour yesterday during an afternoon of painting with visiting children.🎨

Residents and children worked side by side, choosing colours, trying out brushstrokes, and chatting as they created their artwork. The tables were soon covered with bright paintings, and the room had the lively energy that comes from shared activity.

It was a creative session that everyone took part in and enjoyed.

Yesterday we welcomed young visitors to the home for an afternoon that brought generations together. 🎬

We started with painting, where children and residents shared colours, ideas, and conversation. The children then headed to the cinema room for a showing of Megamind, with popcorn, ice cream, and plenty of laughter.

Moments like these show how much both children and older people gain from spending time together, from building confidence and sharing skills to simply enjoying each others company. 💙

We had another succssful 'Taster' morning. This week we offered the local community to book in with Delphine who is a Foot Health Practitioner for a free 20 minute consultation.

We met the lovely Stephanie Horn today from ''My Physio'.
Stephanie came to Meadowhills Open Morning, which is held
every other Wednesday from 10am to 12pm. Stephanie was impressed by our facilities and our purpose built gym.

Today, at Meadowhill Care Home we were delighted to welcome residents and members of the community for free earwax checks provided by Gemma and Donna from Earwax Ladies Ltd, and Optometry Services provided by Optometrist Anthony Wiseman. We are always grateful for the opportunity to support the health and well-being of our residents and community. Their smiles and kind feedback made the morning even more rewarding.
