Today our home was filled with warmth, joy, and meaningful moments as we celebrated our lovely Shelagh’s 94th birthday, just before welcoming the New Year, a truly special milestone shared with smiles, laughter, and togetherness. 🎂💐

We also began something new and inspiring — the Meadowhill Journal 📖✨A beautiful collection of our residents’ wishes, hopes, and resolutions for 2026, capturing voices, dreams, and reflections that matter most.

Moments like these remind us that every day is worth celebrating — the past we cherish and the future we look forward to 🌿💛

This Christmas, our homes came together to celebrate creativity, teamwork, and festive spirit. We challenged teams across Westgate Healthcare to create a one to two minute video inspired by the classic song The Twelve Days of Christmas. Residents, families, and visitors all joined in, which made every entry a joy to watch.

We were delighted to celebrate our very first Residents Christmas party at Meadowhill , surrounded by what matters most — our wonderful residents and their loved ones.

Families joined us for a delicious festive buffet, and our team was rewarded with countless smiles, warm hugs, and heartfelt moments that truly filled the room with joy. ❤️

In the afternoon was special with a beautiful live opera performance, creating a magical experience where families could enjoy precious moments together! 🎄

A sincere thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this day so memorable. These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do, creating a warm, caring home filled with love, dignity, and celebration! 🎉

Gentle dog therapy a visit that brought smiles and comfort. 🐶🐾

We had our soap-making workshop let creativity flourish as everyone crafted their own soaps. 🧼

Pampering sessions offered relaxation and a little indulgence, and our morning pub quiz and riddles sparked laughter and friendly competition 🌸
