PAMPER DAY 🛀

We have a rollers queen on our hands - Peggy enjoyed a little pamper session with a fresh nail colour, file and reshape, plus a soothing hand massage. To top it off, she treated herself to a cappuccino and a custard crown pastry from our Bistro. pure bliss! 💅☕

🧘 YOGA IN THE GYM 🧘

This week our residents enjoyed a calming yoga and meditation session with Dorna in the gym. This was her second visit to the home, and she tailored the class to everyone’s needs. From gentle breathwork and stretches to a soothing relaxation meditation - the perfect way to unwind. 💆‍♀️

Bright blooms, big laughs, and a Bistro full of chatter 🗣️

Residents got hands-on with yellow, orange, and white flowers — debating the shapes, and colours before turning them into dining-room centrepieces.

Afterwards, we hosted our first Residents’ Meeting — less boardroom, more bistro table. Plenty of ideas, honest feedback, and a few cappuccinos later, we’ve set the tone for what’s to come. These chats are now a monthly thing — because the best way to plan life at Meadowhill is together.

WELLNESS WALKS 🍃🌱🌿 - Peggy and Beryl made the most of the sunshine this morning, exploring our beautiful gardens as they continue to bloom. Beryl shared stories about her own garden and what she’s excited to grow here at Meadowhill.

After a visit to the new potting shed, plans were made over cappuccinos in the Bistro. We even delved into some garden resources, learning about traditional methods and what treasures we might discover outdoors. A truly inspiring morning! 🌼☕

🎶✨ A Little Less Conversation… a Little More Dancing! 🕺🎤

At Meadowhill, person-centred care means celebrating the people and passions that make our residents unique. 💛

One of our lovely residents is a lifelong Elvis Presley fan — so today, we turned part of our home into Graceland for an Elvis-themed afternoon tea!

We enjoyed delicious cakes and sandwiches, sipped perfectly brewed tea, and sang along to a tribute act that had toes tapping and hips swaying. 🎵👑
