We are deeply saddened by the passing of Ms. Rajini, lead administrator for PACES at College of Physicians Malaysia and a strong advocate for delivering the highest quality of medical education in the country. Her contribution to the PACES exams from 1996 to 2022 has left an indelible mark on the medical community and our thoughts are with her loved ones. On behalf of the Federation, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family during this incredibly difficult time.

We are very sorry to announce we have identified that, due to a data processing issue, incorrect examination results were communicated to a group of candidates in the UK and internationally who took the Part 2 Written examination in September 2023.

We contacted the candidates who were impacted yesterday, and we are setting up meetings with each of them and a senior clinician over the coming days to determine the individual implications and provide support depending on their unique circumstances. We deeply and unreservedly apologise and recognise the distress this has caused candidates.
