Numerous organizations dedicated to ending came together to exchange best practices and demonstrate solidarity with the global movement to eradicate FGM.

At , my colleagues and I had the opportunity to present our work on Girl/Survivor-led initiatives and emphasize the importance of reframing the language surrounding FGM. Let's remember that FGM is not about culture or religion; it's a grave sexual assault against young girls.

Above all, safeguarding the emotional well-being of survivors and those engaged in this movement is of utmost importance. 💪🏽✨
