Anna Morningstar - Women's Health & Wellbeing Health & wellbeing coach for women over 40 who are ready to stop surviving and start loving life again. This isn't about chasing perfection. I've done it.

Rebuilding energy, confidence & self-trust without diets, guilt or burnout ⭐️💪💋 After years of putting everyone else first, you're ready to take your life — and your health — back into your own hands. That's where I come in 💖

I help women over 40 reconnect with their vitality, confidence, and inner strength. Together, we focus on small, meaningful shifts that fit your real life — not crash diets, not punishing routines. Just practical, compassionate support to help you feel at home in your body again and excited about your future. It's about coming back to you — your energy, your resilience, your joy. Why I Do This Work
Because I’ve lived it. I know how it feels to look in the mirror and wonder where you went. To feel exhausted, stuck, and unsure if change is even possible. But here's the truth: transformation is possible. I've walked this path myself, and now I have the absolute privilege of walking it with others. Helping women rediscover their power isn't just my work — it's my passion. Because you deserve to feel strong, vibrant, and proud of the life you're creating. I'm still doing it. And I know — deep down — you can too. 💕💫

Maybe you didn’t buy the "2026 New Years Resolutions Planner".
Maybe it was more like a post it note on the fridge…
or a mental one you stuck in your head sometime between
Christmas leftovers and that first day back at work.

“Right… this year I’m going to drink more water.
Move more. Sleep properly. Have more energy.
Get my s**t together.”

You care about your health.
You care about feeling good in your body and your life.
You care about you - even if it doesn’t always look like it from the outside.
And you care about actually doing the things you say you will.

There’s nothing half hearted about you.

But by the time you get to think about yourself in January,
your system is still recovering from December.
You're back doing the double shift of work and home,
navigating family dynamics, keeping everyone fed and functioning,
and dealing with all the invisible stuff you never write on a to-do list.

And just when your body has clocked that it's winter and time to take it slow,
you’re expected to undergo a total transformation because the calendar flipped.

So when week two rolls around, and the good intentions are
buried under two layers of thermals,
and the gym is sending “we miss you” emails.
It’s not because you’re not capable of being consistent.
It’s because your battery is on low power mode,
and you don't have the bandwidth to install any new apps right now.

You need more than a new pair of leggings and motivational quote
saved to your phone to get moving in the direction you want.

You need to replenish.

That’s why the first step this year isn’t to set “more goals”
that are forgotten by February -
it's to begin restoring the energy that makes achieving those
goals feel like the natural next step.

And where I start that process with my clients is food.

We figure out what works for your body and what doesn't
(spoiler: your healthy salad might be a midlife energy drainer)

Make simple tweaks to say sayonara to the cravings and 3pm crash

And shift to the 'Eating for Energy' approach,
which is never about restriction or deprivation -
it's about using "food for fuel" in a way that you enjoy and nourishes you.

I'll be showing you exactly how to do this inside my free
5 DAY ENERGY JUMPSTART

Getting you out of the red zone,
feeling present, energised,
and ready to choose what you want to do next.

This is more than New Year resolutions.

This is about deciding you're ready to show up as the woman you truly are.
The one who trusts her choices, backs herself,
is at one with her body, and building a life that excites her.

The story in your head goes something like this...

“This year I’m getting back on it.”
“I just need to be more disciplined
“Once things calm down, I’ll have the headspace to sort myself out.”

So every January, the same list appears:
💪 Eat better
💪 Exercise more
💪 Less sugar/wine/energy drinks
💪 Get to bed earlier
💪 Have more time for myself
💪 Be more patient with the kids/parents/people in general

Because the thing is: relying on willpower alone doesn’t get you what you want - especially when your energy battery is permanently in the red.

If you’re:
😣 Waking up already shattered
😣 Propping yourself up with caffeine
😣 Hitting the 3pm wall like a marathon runner at the 18th mile
😣 Consoling yourself with late-night snacks and scrolling

…it doesn’t matter how determined you are.
Your body will win. Every time.

And it’s NOT that you can’t stick to things - you keep the wheels turning in your world every single day.

It’s that you’re asking a drained nervous system to behave like a fully charged one - and that’s just not how our midlife bodies work.

In my world, we don’t start with:
“Be more disciplined.”
We start with:
“Let’s get you enough energy to live your actual life.”

That looks like:
💫 Calming the crash–crave–cope rollercoaster
💫 Giving your body what it needs so it stops crying out for quick fixes
💫 Building days that don’t rinse you before lunchtime

Once that’s in place?
The food, the movement, the routines, the patience, the “better choices” become ten times easier - because you’re not trying to do them from empty.

Keep your eye on this space ‘cos I’ve got something short and very practical coming that will help you reset your energy without needing to turn your whole life upside down – so you can save your willpower for when you really need it 😉

It’s Christmas Eve and, shocker, I’m still not ready.
Even the kids are baffled at how it’s arrived so sneakily 😱

So if you’re still thinking:
“Did I remember the cranberry sauce?”
“Did I get enough mince pies?”
“Did I order Charlie the right thing?”
“Did I wrap Charlie the right thing?”
“How am I going to fit everything in the oven?”
“Why am I the only one who knows the answers to these questions? 😫”

You are not alone.
Girl, I’m not even pretending to have it all under control. 😂

Last night I was replacing the batteries on the garland I should’ve put up two weeks ago, wondering why portable chargers for humans haven’t been invented yet.
And really… what difference is it going to make if there’s one less set of fairy lights? 🙈

But it’s not just about that, is it?

You’ve been “Making Christmas Magical Since 2000™️”.
Putting a big sparkly bow on a year that may, or may not, have been a complete sh*tshow.

You soldier on - battling brain fog, running on adrenaline, cortisol, and caffeine, with a stress response that’s been working back-to-back shifts for as long as you can remember.

And every time a new thing to do appears out of thin air, you drop the ONE tiny thing you planned for yourself.

Why? Because it’s easier to let ourselves down than anyone else (and yes we know that, and yes we know we shouldn’t, and yes we do it anyway).

And then we wonder why we’re knackered and fantasising about lying in a dark room with red wine, cheese, and a blanket over our heads.

None of this means you’re failing at Christmas.
It just means you’re human… and you’re tired.

And unless a festive miracle happens...things will go wrong.

Something will be left in the microwave.
Veg will be overdone.
The kitchen will look like a war zone.
The kids will slope off on SnapChat.
There will be arguments over a charger.
Someone will say something you wish they hadn’t.

That’s normal.

The really scary thing isn’t the chaos.
It’s what happens when it isn’t like this anymore.

One day the house won’t be this loud.
One day the lists won’t be this long.
One day you won’t be tripping over presents you forgot you bought, borrowing chairs because you don’t have enough, or hiding your favourite chocolates so the usual suspects don’t get them first.

Underneath the stress and the last-minute scrambling… this whole season is really about who we’re doing it for.

And the fact that we still care so much, even when we’re exhausted.

And when you remember this, the madness doesn’t feel like a failure.
It feels like something you’ll miss one day.

Yes it’s a lot, yes it’s messy, and yes it can be overwhelming - but it’s yours.
And whatever happens, it will be ok, because people - not presents or perfection - are what make Christmas special.

So if you need it, here’s your permission slip:
🎄 Hit the F*ck It Button
🎄 Let it be what it’s going to be
🎄 Breathe and enjoy it, because one day you’ll look back and wish it could be like this again

Love,
Anna 🎄✨

🎄 Your Christmas 2025 Survival Toolkit (the edition you didn’t know you needed)

T’is the season to be jolly…
Or t’is the season to be:

✨ Panic-ordering last-minute pressies hoping they arrive in time and the instructions aren’t in Chinese
✨ Telling yourself “this year will be calmer” while drinking Baileys for breakfast -this is about survival, right?
✨ Regretting the wrapping paper choice because glitter is everywhere - including places glitter should never be
✨ Realising you don’t have enough chairs, cutlery, or Christmas crackers for the number of people coming
✨ Watching Nigella float around in silk pj’s making midnight brownies while you’re elbow-deep in sprouts wearing joggers that are about to go on srike
✨ Pretending the Elf on the Shelf is “definitely coming back later” (he’s MIA but you’ve only got a few more days so keep going)
✨ Debating whether you can Prime-Now a TARDIS because you can’t move for boxes and you’d love to escape to… anywhere 🙈

Christmas is magical, but it can also be mildly traumatic.

There’s the excitement, nostalgia, the lights, the food, the little ones who still believe 🎅🏻🎅😍

And also the stress, the noise, the “where’s the tape?”, “did I wrap that?”, and the constant sense that there is always one more thing you’re supposed to be doing.

But here we are, doing it all over again because, deep down, we love it…even the chaos.

And because we are only days away, and I want you to make it to the New Year sanity intact - I’ve brought back the Christmas Survival Toolkit 🎁 with a bit extra on the side ⭐️

PLUS → I’m including a link to my
⭐️ Festive Not-So-Naughty But Nice Treats PDF
for when you want something sweet that doesn’t send you spiralling.

And if you’re in a sharing mood too, please feel free to pass this onto a friend, and tell me…

Just between us of course 😉

Wishing you all a wonderful and peaceful festive season

19/12/2025

If you’ve been wondering why the things that used to work don’t work anymore…

Why your energy drops out of nowhere…
Why the 3pm crash has become part of the daily routine…
Why you can be “trying to do all the right things” and still feel shattered…

It’s not because you’re “getting old.”
It’s not because you’ve “got no discipline.”
And it’s not because you "can't get anything right."

It’s because your body is changing - and your life hasn’t done the decent thing and slowed down to match.

You thought that when the kids got older you’d be coasting.
More time, less stress… simple!

Er, no.

Right now you’re carrying:
• More mental load
• More responsibility
• More pressure to “keep all the plates spinning”
• Hormones that are holding you hostage
• Less time, less sleep… and precious little margin for error

Your midlife body is reacting to all of it.

Energy dips that never used to happen.
Sugar cravings that appear out of nowhere.
Caffeine as a food group.
Evenings where you’re barely functional.

This is not personal failure.

It’s biology + life load + zero time to reset.

💬 “I thought this was just how it was.”

For some…maybe. For you?
It doesn’t have to be.

Yes it’s real.
And yes, it’s a bitch.

But once you start working with your midlife body instead of fighting against it?
Piece by piece, everything starts to get easier.
And the best part? It doesn’t need a total life re-write.

If this sounds like the thing you didn’t know you needed, watch this space - something’s coming in the New Year ⚡️

16/12/2025

You’ve done the whole
“right, that’s it, I’m sorting myself out” thing more times than you can count.

– Cutting out sugar (again) for as long as your willpower holds
– Signing up to workout challenges you dread
– Telling yourself you “just need to be more organised, more disciplined” with food

…only to find, two weeks later, you’re back in the
crash → crave → cope loop:

🚩 Waking up tired
🚩 Running on caffeine and false hope
🚩 Raiding the biscuit tin at 3pm
🚩 Skipping the evening workout cos you’re too shattered

And because you’re a smart cookie who knows what she should be doing, you make it mean there’s something wrong with you.

“I’m lazy.”
“I’m inconsistent.”
“I just can’t stick to anything.”

Except none of that’s true.

Here’s what’s actually going on:
You’ve been trying to build new habits on top of low energy.
Like renovating a house on dodgy foundations and wondering why the walls keep cracking.

It’s not that you “can’t stick to things.”
It’s that your body is running out of fuel, over and over again, and you have to carry on like it isn’t.

So every time you try to:
– Eat better
– Move more
– Go to bed earlier
– “Take better care” of yourself

…you’re doing it from empty.
No wonder it’s not working!

When women come to me, I don’t start with a big shiny all-singing all-dancing plan.
I start with energy – the basic-but-essential bit you don’t see on a vision board.

Once you lock in stable energy, the things you’ve “never managed to stick to” start to feel possible.

I’ll be talking more about this over the next few weeks, and I’ve got something coming in the new year to help you actually do it in real life – not just think about it.

If the crash–crave–cope loop is where you’re at right now…
just know: it’s not a you problem.

It’s an energy problem.

And we can fix that.

If you’re ready to get off the crash–crave–cope merry-go-round, this is your sign to stay tuned. ⚡️

🔥 You say “I’m tired” - I say “you’re exhausted ‘cos you’re living on fumes and false hope”

You know when you wake up 7 hours later and could swear you’ve barely slept?
Or you read the same email 3x and still don’t get it?
Or you actually get some time to yourself and all you want to do is numb out with snacks, wine, and a crap TV show?

That’s not just “tired.”
That’s life taking more out of you than you’ve had a chance to put back in.

Before you blame yourself - you’re not a robot that needs rebooting.
You’re one woman holding up an entire ecosystem.

And low energy takes over your life:
⚡️ Brain fog that makes simple things feel like a cryptic crossword puzzle
⚡️ Mid-morning comes and you’re sure you’ve already done a full day
⚡️ The 3pm crash that arrives like clockwork
⚡️ You’re overstretched and out of willpower before the evening even begins

Midulting isn’t easy, sometimes it feels like life is conspiring against you and there’s not a lot you can do about it.

But your body is always trying to tell you something, and right now it’s had enough of the crash-crave-cope routine that’s been your ‘new normal’ for so long you can’t remember a time before it.

And I know, when you think about changing that, it’s just grief. More to manage, more to organise…and seriously, you haven’t got time to reinvent your whole life!!

So, what if I told you… you don’t need to.
What if all you need is a starting point.
A small one.
Something that gives you quick, noticeable wins without turning your life upside down.

Sound good?

That’s exactly why I’m running the 5 Day Energy Jumpstart in the new year.
Nothing complicated.
Nothing extreme.
Just five days of small, doable, proven shifts that help you feel more energised from morning to evening - without craving chocolate by 11am or mainlining coffee to get you through the afternoon.

If you want to remember what it’s like to wake up ready to get going (not go back to bed), glide through 3pm while everyone else is reaching for the doughnuts, and enjoy dinner because you didn’t eat a whole sharing bag of crisps by mistake while making it 🫢...

Drop a ⚡️ in the comments or DM me to get on the waitlist… and get your sparkle back in 2026 ✨

You deserve to feel better than this.
And honestly, it’s a lot easier than you think.

Love,
Anna 💕

👎 “Your best years are behind you.”
👎 “It’s just your age.”
👎 “You should lower your expectations.”

Funny how these stories about age just slip off the tongue.
We’ve all heard them. We’ve probably all thought them too.
But they’re not the only stories available to us. Here are some better ones:

👍 "I can listen to my body, work with it, and make changes one step at a time."
👍 "This isn’t the end - it’s the middle. And I get to decide what comes next."
👍 "Getting older doesn’t mean giving up. It means recognising what’s in my control, acting on it, and refusing to let someone else’s script decide my future."

The stories we believe shape the way we live - so we need to make sure we're choosing the right ones.

And that’s where I come in.

I'm your wellbeing wing-girl, and together we flip the script on midlife - no throwing in the towel, no soul-sucking diets, no punishing bootcamps, no ticking every “perfect” box - I promise 🫶

Instead, we focus on energy, self-trust, and enjoying life again - on your terms, in a way that feels natural, feels great, and finally feels like you.

Because, no matter what anyone else says, you’ve earned the right to love the skin you’re in, show up confident as the woman you’ve worked damn hard to become, and stop apologising for putting yourself first.

No gimmicks, no guilt. This is your time to thrive, not settle for less.

And I know you're ready for this 💥

“‘It’s your age.’

Translation: I’ve got no better answer, so let’s just call you old.

Honestly? No thanks.

Because here’s what’s really going on:

👉 Brain fog? No it’s not necessarily early onset, it’s often stress, poor sleep, and erratic blood sugar.
👉 Aching & creaking joints? Your body is asking for strength and movement, not a Zimmer frame.
👉 Weight shifts? Yes hormones play a role, but habits and lifestyle are still game-changers.

I’m not going to pretend that ageing doesn’t brings its own kind of chaos. But blaming everything on age is dismissive, detrimental, and only serves to keep us stuck.

When we stop asking questions and accept that phrase as the final word, we give up too soon.

And none of us here are done yet.

So, if you’ve been feeling frustrated, like nothing works anymore…it’s time to update the toolkit, not throw in the towel.

📌 Catch up on my recent talk: Still Got It: Getting Older Doesn’t Have to Mean Feeling Old.

We decided we’re not letting anyone else’s limits define us - and if you know a woman who needs that reminder too, share or pass this her way 💕

“‘It’s your age.’ Annoying, patronising - and only half the story. Age explains some things, but thank f**k it’s not the whole truth.”

If you’re anything like me, you can remember every word to a random 80’s pop song on the radio - but can’t remember why you just walked into the kitchen.

Bending down or getting up from a chair now comes with its own soundtrack of involuntary grunts and groans.

And you’re calling the kids by the dog’s name (when you don’t even have a dog).

But I don’t think the problem is that we’re getting older.
The bigger problem is how quick people are to dismiss us with a shrug and a defeatist, “well, it’s your age.”

Yes, some things change with age. Those “bloody hell I’m getting old” moments are real.

But writing off every stiff joint, blank stare moment, or weight shift as “inevitable” keeps us buying into the myth that there’s nothing we can do.

Which is BS.

You don’t need to feel 25 again. But you don’t need to feel 105 either. Settling for “it’s your age” means giving up too soon - and I know you’re not done yet.

👉 This is what I’m talking about Thursday at 1pm:

Join me live to bust some myths, shift mindsets, and have a proper conversation about what getting older SHOULDN'T mean👇
