💪 Energy, confidence & direction beyond menopause
🚫 No settling. No disappearing.

No shrinking. After years of putting everyone else first, you're ready to take your life — and your health — back into your own hands. That's where I come in 💖

I help women over 40 reconnect with their vitality, confidence, and inner strength. Together, we focus on small, meaningful shifts that fit your real life — not crash diets, not punishing routines. Just practical, compassionate support to help you feel at home in your body again and excited about your future. This isn't about chasing perfection. It's about coming back to you — your energy, your resilience, your joy. Why I Do This Work
Because I’ve lived it. I know how it feels to look in the mirror and wonder where you went. To feel exhausted, stuck, and unsure if change is even possible. But here's the truth: transformation is possible. I've walked this path myself, and now I have the absolute privilege of walking it with others. Helping women rediscover their power isn't just my work — it's my passion. Because you deserve to feel strong, vibrant, and proud of the life you're creating. I've done it. I'm still doing it. And I know — deep down — you can too. 💕💫

Spring is almost here…

The daffodils are out, the mornings are lighter… and right about now the internet's gonna start banging on about “getting summer ready.”

Eat less. Move more.

Wow 😱
Groundbreaking 😱

Because clearly we just haven’t thought of that yet 🙄

The thing is, advice like that assumes you exist in a nice calm little bubble where the only variables are calories and exercise. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Meanwhile, real life looks more like this:

🫣You wake up already thinking about three conversations you need to have that day and at least one you could really do without.

😮‍💨You spend half the morning solving problems that technically belong to other people because it’s quicker than explaining it again.

⏱️You promise yourself you’ll go for a walk at lunchtime… and then realise you’ve been sitting in the same chair for four hours and your 3rd cup of coffee’s stone cold.

By the evening you’re cooking dinner, catching up on emails, answering questions on the whereabouts of objects that you've never even seen, the dog needs feeding, there’s another wash to put on, and you’re wondering whether the Christmas box of Lindors you hid at the back of the cupboard is still there ‘cos it’s either that, a bottle of red🍷 or a one-way ticket to Tenerife ✈️ 🥳

But sure. Let’s pretend the issue is simply less calories.

What really gets me, is how easy it is to start blaming yourself when this formula stops working.

😣You think you’re not disciplined enough.
😣You need more willpower.
😣You just gotta try harder.

But when you actually look at what your body is dealing with most days - the stress, the pace, the mental load, broken sleep, hormones, the constant background noise and pressure - it becomes pretty obvious why the simple maths approach doesn’t always play nicely anymore.

The fundamentals of looking after yourself - as a whole human being - matter... more than ever.

Years of running flat out have left your nervous system seriously overworked - it's like driving at 100mph in second gear and wondering why the engine's screaming.
And when your body has been operating like that for long enough, it stops responding like the neat little equation the diet industry would prefer it to be.

You need something different now.

And you know that because even when you're eating right and squeezing in a run, HIIT, or pilates class when you can - the result isn't the same as it was 20 years ago 🤯

The conversation about weight isn’t nearly as simple as we’ve been told.

And once you see that, the whole thing suddenly gets a lot more interesting.

Because the question stops being:
❌“How much less do I need to eat?”

And becomes:
✅“What’s going on here, what do I actually need?”

And that is far more powerful than any 'diet' will ever be 💪

I promise you...
It's never just "this one thing

Your body and life is a teensy bit more complicated than that🩷

You haven't been to the gym in six months,
But you still haven't cancelled your membership...

Because cancelling would mean something.

So you ignore
the guilt of not going.
The “we miss you” emails.
The direct debit leaving your account every month.

And as long as you’re “going back,” it’s not a waste. Right?

That’s what I kept telling myself last year.

My legacy contract came with perks, so obviously it made sense to keep it:
• 20% off in the restaurant (I ate breakfast there roughly twice a year)
• A free monthly pass (used as often as the restaurant)
• Access to any club in the country (can barely get across town)

But this wasn’t just about working out.
I’ve been a gym bunny since I was 18.

There was a break when the babies arrived.
Then the kids’ club at David Lloyd Leisure felt like winning the lottery.
We practically lived there.
Swimming lessons. DL discos. Weekend lunches.

The kids got older.
One joined a gym with his mates.
Then the other did the same.
Their dad got too busy.

Now I was the last one standing.

And those two hours I had to set aside each time stopped being a given and became a mental negotiation.

But cancelling?

That felt like I was officially announcing I no longer had my life together.
Like admitting I wasn’t that woman anymore.
Like I wasn’t living up to my own standards.
How can I coach other people about movement and consistency if I can’t make it to the gym?

The membership wasn’t just access to HIIT classes and discounted avo on toast.
It was access to a version of me.
That version of me kicked ass.
She worked hard. She built a lot. She kept things moving.

But this version of me has a different life…and a different body.
And pretending nothing has changed takes more effort than the workout ever did.

So I cancelled.
The three-month notice period was painful… but the relief was immediate.

Now?
My home is my gym.
I’m done in 45 minutes.
In the living room.
In the kitchen.
Before breakfast.
Or after dinner.
Whatever fits.

I don’t need to drive.
I don’t need to care if my outfit matches (trivial but true).
I don’t need to brush my hair (or my teeth) first.

It’s working. I feel strong. I’m happy.
I’ve swapped perception for sustainability.

Sometimes it’s easier to keep paying - in time, money or effort - for something we think we should be doing, something that proves who we were.

Deciding we’re not that person anymore, and there’s nothing to prove, feels like loosening the belt a notch and swapping “should” energy for “this actually fits my life” energy.

It’s not giving up.
It’s growing up.

And sometimes growth looks a lot less glamorous - and a lot more practical.

You’re spending more energy than you’re earning -
in decisions, in conversations,
in boundaries that aren’t being held.

Your nervous system is running an overdraft.
And overdrafts don’t create possibility.
They create survival mode.

More energy = more capacity

Capacity isn’t about doing more.
It’s about having space to choose how you show up.
And choose who you are in your life.

That's the kind of choice I care about
That's the kind of choice you deserve

Tag or share with a friend who deserves to choose too ❤️

If energy is currency, most midlife women are running an overdraft with no interest-free period...and not checking their statements 🫣

So this isn’t about continuing to spend more than you have.
It’s about investing in a better rate of return.

❌ You’re done with quick fixes.
❌ Lining up the double espressos at 3pm.
❌ Skipping the workout because you’re too shattered.
❌ Telling yourself you’ll get back on it next week.

Your body is running out of fuel over and over again.
And you have to carry on like it isn’t.

So we’re taking it back to basics.
Getting the foundations right.
Starting with food.

🙌 Not dieting.
🙌 Not counting calories.
🙌 Not cutting carbs.
🙌 Not just eating more protein because Instagram says so.

It’s about figuring out what actually works for you now -
because this phase of life runs by different rules than your 20s and 30s.

When you start working with the body you have now, instead of doing your best to control it with an out-of-date playbook,
piece by piece, everything starts to get easier.

That’s exactly what we’re doing inside the Free 5-Day Energy Jumpstart.
Using my Eating for Energy approach, we:

💥 bust the diet myths we grew up with
⚡️ discover how your plate of food is either fuelling you or draining you
💡finally understand why cravings won’t quit - even when you’re “doing it right”
✨and sprinkle in some mindset magic that make this sustainable, not stressful

No total life overhaul.
Just a clear, practical way to:

💫 boost your energy
💫 break the crash–crave–cope cycle
💫 discover what actually works for your body now

Turning 55 last week was a bit of a shock but I have to say, there’s a lot I’m loving about it…

Deeper friendships.
Fewer explanations.
A clearer sense of what (and who) belongs in my space.

Midlife doesn’t feel like the crisis I remember bracing myself for in my 30s.
Back then I thought it would be about loss, or panic, or trying to hold onto something that was slipping away.

What it’s brought me is perspective.
And the confidence to choose where I invest my energy.

We’re juggling full lives and big responsibilities,
and we want to feel more alive in the middle of it all…

To enjoy the night out and the next morning.
To say yes to the fun stuff - not just get through the essentials.
To show up for the people we love as the brightest version of ourselves,
not the one running on fumes.

If energy is the piece you want more of right now, the Free 5-Day Energy Jumpstart is here for you.

03/02/2026

If you’re anything like me, a loud headline isn’t enough.
You want to know why something works - not just be told that it does.

Because chances are,
you’ve already done a lot of what you’ve been told should help.

Making better food choices.
Moving more.
Being more consistent.

And it works… for a while… until it doesn’t.

So you decide that next time you just need to:
fix your mindset
be more disciplined
and keep pushing through - even when you really don’t feel like it.

But what if the reason you keep going back to old habits to get you through the day
isn’t because you’re not trying hard enough -
but because you’re asking a drained nervous system to behave like a fully charged one?

No amount of mindset, discipline, or pushing through fixes that.

Been there. Done that.
I know how the story ends - from my own experience, and from what I’ve seen again and again with my clients.

The two most important things I can tell you now are:
1️⃣ Don’t try to fix everything at once
2️⃣ The order matters

Energy first.
Everything else second.

And that’s exactly what my free 5-Day Energy Jumpstart is about.

Starting at the beginning.
Getting the foundations right.
So you can build the internal resource and capacity that allows the things you’ve already tried to actually work.

If you want to move beyond functioning…
understand what your body needs now (because 45 isn’t the same as 25)…
enjoy food without overthinking it…
and have energy for the things you want to do and the things you need to do
(because that sh*t isn’t going anywhere)

Are you as tired of seeing headlines like this as I am ?

“Things more people need to understand”
😳 A bowel movement after coffee is a stress response - not healthy digestion.
😳 Waking up not hungry isn’t something to be happy about. It a sign your metabolism is slow.
😳 Not eating breakfast = one of the quickest ways to disrupt your hormones and fertility. Skip dinner instead.

They’re the kind of posts that make you stop scrolling…
then send you down a Google rabbit hole to verify whether your body is one ‘bad habit’ away from total collapse.

The less sensational truth is:
😅 Dropping the kids off at the pool after coffee is a very common physiological response
😅 Not waking up hungry can be a totally normal hormonal pattern
😅 Skipping breakfast, on its own, is not proven to damage fertility or hormones in an otherwise healthy woman

Bodies are adaptable and resilient.
They’re not that fragile.
And health doesn’t work on a “one wrong move, whole system ruined” basis - but that kind of framing gets great engagement.

Here's a simple way to sanity-check this kind of stuff:
If a claim relies on words like “always”, “never”, or “this one habit wrecks your hormones”… treat it as marketing, not medicine.

Real life is more nuanced than a headline.

There isn’t a single right way to eat, move, wake up, or live that works for every woman.
What actually matters is whether something is working for you.

For example:
If you’re eating in a way that feels good,
you’re not hungry first thing,
and your energy stays steady through the day…
That’s useful information.
Not a red flag, not a problem to fix - no matter what Instagram says this week.

And this is where midlife really influences the conversation.
Your 45-year-old body doesn’t want what your 25-year-old body did.
Not in a dramatic, doom-and-gloom way - just in a “this is different now” way.

Different rhythms.
Different needs.
Different feedback.

The most sustainable thing you can do is ignore headlines that make you doubt yourself… and start listening to what your own body is telling you.

That’s exactly what we start doing inside my free 5-Day Energy Jumpstart.
No shock tactics.
No fear-based rules.
No “this one thing will change everything”.

Just a clear, practical way to:
💫 Boost your energy naturally
💫 Break the crash-crave-cope cycle
💫 Discover what actually works for the body you have now

If you want to know what that looks like in real life - not hype - and you’re done being distracted by the noise. This is the place to start.

We kick off Monday February 9th

Maybe you didn’t buy the "2026 New Years Resolutions Planner".

Maybe it was more like a post it note on the fridge 📝…
or a mental one you stuck in your head sometime between Christmas leftovers and that first day back at work

“Right… this year I’m going to drink more water.
Move more. Sleep properly. Have more energy.
Get my s**t together.” 🙏

✨You care about your health.
✨You care about feeling good in your body and your life.
✨You care about you - even if it doesn’t always look like it from the outside.
✨And you care about actually doing the things you say you will.

There’s nothing half hearted about you.

But by the time you get to think about yourself in January, your system is still recovering from December.

You're back doing the double shift of work and home, navigating family dynamics, keeping everyone fed and functioning, and dealing with all the invisible stuff you never write on a to-do list 😮‍💨

And just when your body has clocked that it's winter and time to take it slow, you’re expected to undergo a total transformation because the calendar flipped.

So when week two rolls around, and the good intentions are buried under two layers of thermals, and the gym is sending “we miss you” emails…

It’s not because you’re not capable of being consistent.

It’s because your battery is on low power mode,
and you don't have the bandwidth to install any new apps right now.

You need more than a new pair of leggings and motivational quote saved to your phone to get moving in the direction you want.

You need to replenish 💪

That’s why the first step this year isn’t to set “more goals” that are forgotten by February -
it's to begin restoring the energy that makes achieving those goals feel like the natural next step.

And where I start that process with my clients is food.

🙌 We figure out what works for your body and what doesn't (spoiler: your healthy salad might be a midlife energy drainer)

🙌 Make simple tweaks to say sayonara to the cravings and 3pm crash

🙌 Shift to the 'Eating for Energy' approach,
which is never about restriction or deprivation -
it's about using "food for fuel" in a way that you enjoy and nourishes you

🙌 And discover the secrets to increasing energy and maintaining your weight even if you don’t change what you eat

I'll be showing you exactly how to do this inside my free 5 DAY ENERGY JUMPSTART

Getting you out of the red zone,
feeling present, energised,
and ready to choose what you want to do next.

This is about more than New Year resolutions.

This is about deciding you're ready to show up as the woman you truly are.

The one who trusts her choices, backs herself,
is at home in her body, and resourced to continue building the life she knows she deserves.

Comment JUMPSTART or DM me and I'll save your seat!

03/01/2026

The story in your head goes something like this...

“This year I’m getting back on it.”
“I just need to be more disciplined
“Once things calm down, I’ll have the headspace to sort myself out.”

So every January, the same list appears:
💪 Eat better
💪 Exercise more
💪 Less sugar/wine/energy drinks
💪 Get to bed earlier
💪 Have more time for myself
💪 Be more patient with the kids/parents/people in general

Because the thing is: relying on willpower alone doesn’t get you what you want - especially when your energy battery is permanently in the red.

If you’re:
😣 Waking up already shattered
😣 Propping yourself up with caffeine
😣 Hitting the 3pm wall like a marathon runner at the 18th mile
😣 Consoling yourself with late-night snacks and scrolling

…it doesn’t matter how determined you are.
Your body will win. Every time.

And it’s NOT that you can’t stick to things - you keep the wheels turning in your world every single day.

It’s that you’re asking a drained nervous system to behave like a fully charged one - and that’s just not how our midlife bodies work.

In my world, we don’t start with:
“Be more disciplined.”
We start with:
“Let’s get you enough energy to live your actual life.”

That looks like:
💫 Calming the crash–crave–cope rollercoaster
💫 Giving your body what it needs so it stops crying out for quick fixes
💫 Building days that don’t rinse you before lunchtime

Once that’s in place?
The food, the movement, the routines, the patience, the “better choices” become ten times easier - because you’re not trying to do them from empty.

Keep your eye on this space ‘cos I’ve got something short and very practical coming that will help you reset your energy without needing to turn your whole life upside down – so you can save your willpower for when you really need it 😉

24/12/2025

It’s Christmas Eve and, shocker, I’m still not ready.
Even the kids are baffled at how it’s arrived so sneakily 😱

So if you’re still thinking:
“Did I remember the cranberry sauce?”
“Did I get enough mince pies?”
“Did I order Charlie the right thing?”
“Did I wrap Charlie the right thing?”
“How am I going to fit everything in the oven?”
“Why am I the only one who knows the answers to these questions? 😫”

You are not alone.
Girl, I’m not even pretending to have it all under control. 😂

Last night I was replacing the batteries on the garland I should’ve put up two weeks ago, wondering why portable chargers for humans haven’t been invented yet.
And really… what difference is it going to make if there’s one less set of fairy lights? 🙈

But it’s not just about that, is it?

You’ve been “Making Christmas Magical Since 2000™️”.
Putting a big sparkly bow on a year that may, or may not, have been a complete sh*tshow.

You soldier on - battling brain fog, running on adrenaline, cortisol, and caffeine, with a stress response that’s been working back-to-back shifts for as long as you can remember.

And every time a new thing to do appears out of thin air, you drop the ONE tiny thing you planned for yourself.

Why? Because it’s easier to let ourselves down than anyone else (and yes we know that, and yes we know we shouldn’t, and yes we do it anyway).

And then we wonder why we’re knackered and fantasising about lying in a dark room with red wine, cheese, and a blanket over our heads.

None of this means you’re failing at Christmas.
It just means you’re human… and you’re tired.

And unless a festive miracle happens...things will go wrong.

Something will be left in the microwave.
Veg will be overdone.
The kitchen will look like a war zone.
The kids will slope off on SnapChat.
There will be arguments over a charger.
Someone will say something you wish they hadn’t.

That’s normal.

The really scary thing isn’t the chaos.
It’s what happens when it isn’t like this anymore.

One day the house won’t be this loud.
One day the lists won’t be this long.
One day you won’t be tripping over presents you forgot you bought, borrowing chairs because you don’t have enough, or hiding your favourite chocolates so the usual suspects don’t get them first.

Underneath the stress and the last-minute scrambling… this whole season is really about who we’re doing it for.

And the fact that we still care so much, even when we’re exhausted.

And when you remember this, the madness doesn’t feel like a failure.
It feels like something you’ll miss one day.

Yes it’s a lot, yes it’s messy, and yes it can be overwhelming - but it’s yours.
And whatever happens, it will be ok, because people - not presents or perfection - are what make Christmas special.

So if you need it, here’s your permission slip:
🎄 Hit the F*ck It Button
🎄 Let it be what it’s going to be
🎄 Breathe and enjoy it, because one day you’ll look back and wish it could be like this again

Love,
Anna 🎄✨

👎 “Your best years are behind you.”
👎 “It’s just your age.”
👎 “You should lower your expectations.”

Funny how these stories about age just slip off the tongue.
We’ve all heard them. We’ve probably all thought them too.
But they’re not the only stories available to us. Here are some better ones:

👍 "I can listen to my body, work with it, and make changes one step at a time."
👍 "This isn’t the end - it’s the middle. And I get to decide what comes next."
👍 "Getting older doesn’t mean giving up. It means recognising what’s in my control, acting on it, and refusing to let someone else’s script decide my future."

The stories we believe shape the way we live - so we need to make sure we're choosing the right ones.

And that’s where I come in.

I'm your wellbeing wing-girl, and together we flip the script on midlife - no throwing in the towel, no soul-sucking diets, no punishing bootcamps, no ticking every “perfect” box - I promise 🫶

Instead, we focus on energy, self-trust, and enjoying life again - on your terms, in a way that feels natural, feels great, and finally feels like you.

Because, no matter what anyone else says, you’ve earned the right to love the skin you’re in, show up confident as the woman you’ve worked damn hard to become, and stop apologising for putting yourself first.

No gimmicks, no guilt. This is your time to thrive, not settle for less.

And I know you're ready for this 💥

“‘It’s your age.’

Translation: I’ve got no better answer, so let’s just call you old.

Honestly? No thanks.

Because here’s what’s really going on:

👉 Brain fog? No it’s not necessarily early onset, it’s often stress, poor sleep, and erratic blood sugar.
👉 Aching & creaking joints? Your body is asking for strength and movement, not a Zimmer frame.
👉 Weight shifts? Yes hormones play a role, but habits and lifestyle are still game-changers.

I’m not going to pretend that ageing doesn’t brings its own kind of chaos. But blaming everything on age is dismissive, detrimental, and only serves to keep us stuck.

When we stop asking questions and accept that phrase as the final word, we give up too soon.

And none of us here are done yet.

So, if you’ve been feeling frustrated, like nothing works anymore…it’s time to update the toolkit, not throw in the towel.
