WS Bond have been serving West London for over 130 years, and while most of our funerals now involve the motor hearse, we are called upon from time to time to provide horse-drawn victorian glass hearses. These really do stop the traffic (the only thing apart from blues and twos that does) and turn heads as the distinctive sound of horses hooves is heard. The costs are much less than folks expect. Call any of our branches and we will be able to give you costings. A contribution can also be made if you are taking out a funeral plan to cover the entire cost of the funeral - horses and all.

Today is bittersweet whereby we bid a fond farewell to Linda Thompson of WS Bond Chiswick who hangs up her top hat after nearly 29 years with Dignity as a funeral arranger and director. We were honoured to be able to present Linda with some flowers and gifts as a Thank You from her colleagues and the company. Linda has served in Fulham too and to this day we still have families asking for Linda to conduct their loved ones funerals. We wish Linda a very happy retirement and arrivaderci.

WS Bond Funeral Directors were delighted and honoured to host a visit by the local Vicar Reverend Denis Adide of St Stephen's, Shepherds Bush. The parish has a long association with our businesses and we are proud to work closely with Reverend Denis, his associate Vicar Reverend Cheryl and the Team. Funeral Arranger Micheal was on hand to provide the warmest of welcomes on a frosty morning.

This Children's Grief Awareness Week, we shine a light on the unique ways children experience and express grief. Grief doesn’t have an age limit, and every child deserves support, understanding, and the space to heal.

It’s important to remind children that their emotions are valid, and that they are not alone in their grief.
