Day 5 Cleanse and Reboot
Has anyone just sliced and lightly fried celeriac and courgette recently?
It works so well as a lighter, slower carb side.
Also added some whole grain mustard as well as a generous squeeze of lemon ( lowers the glycaemic load)!
Delicious with Cleanse friendly haloumi ( remember to check the ingredients as some producers add in cows dairy and it should be sheep or sheep and goat based!)😋

How it’s time for the evening ritual..
🛀 dry skin brushing followed by epsom salts bath ( skin is a hardworking detox organ and the lymphatic system loves that stimulation!)
💤magnesium supplement to relieve any “detox” headaches and help you get a good nights sleep
😄rhubarb complex to support regularity and to relieve any bloating 😉
🍵 yes chamomile tea really does help you sleep! It contains apigenin which binds to our GABA receptors that may decrease anxiety and initiate sleep. But top tip! Soak the teabags for a good 5 mins .. or use 2 for a really therapeutic effect !

As Autumnal skies move in, don’t forget your liquid sunshine...Vitamin D3 !
It is estimated that up to 90% of the UK population is deficient in Vitamin D during the Winter and at this time of the year our summer stocks may be dwindling.
D3 is as we know critical for our immunity, mood and bone health.
Vitamin K is also important for bone health and works synergistically with Vit D to make sure the calcium gets to our bones as Vit D does not fully control where the calcium in our body ends up.
Vitamin D and K work as a team👯‍♂️..so until the ☀️ is once again high in the sky, consider one of the vitamin D plus K supplements pictured.
Other great options are Complete D3 plus A and K or D with K oral spray.
Ideally get your D3 levels tested but a suggested intake of 2,000-3,000IU per day for an adult at this time of year is a good starting point 🙂.
