As Autumnal skies move in, don’t forget your liquid sunshine...Vitamin D3 !
It is estimated that up to 90% of the UK population is deficient in Vitamin D during the Winter and at this time of the year our summer stocks may be dwindling.
D3 is as we know critical for our immunity, mood and bone health.
Vitamin K is also important for bone health and works synergistically with Vit D to make sure the calcium gets to our bones as Vit D does not fully control where the calcium in our body ends up.
Vitamin D and K work as a team👯♂️..so until the ☀️ is once again high in the sky, consider one of the vitamin D plus K supplements pictured.
Other great options are Complete D3 plus A and K or D with K oral spray.
Ideally get your D3 levels tested but a suggested intake of 2,000-3,000IU per day for an adult at this time of year is a good starting point 🙂.
