Releasing tension from the hips will not only increase mobility, but opening the hips will create an energetic shift. We hold a lot of negative energies and emotion in our hips creating emotional blockages. A simple forward fold can help to open up the hips, and a full hip opening flow will release this negative energy and create a sense of freedom. Practicing a hip opening sequence will not only help with the range of motion and energy release, but will improve your regular practice, improve your circulation and increase your energy levels!

N E W. C L A S S!!
Starting Monday 14th September I will be holding a new FlyHigh Yoga class in Highbury and Islington, and I am so excited! 🤸🏽‍♀️

Our beautiful new venue will be the Skylight Centre, 49 Corsica Street, London, N5 1JT
Just 6 minutes walk from Highbury & Islington station 🤗 prices remain the same and block bookings can be used for either of my classes

In FlyHigh yoga you will be visiting many familiar postures to other types of yoga, but like you’ve never felt them before! The FlyHigh yoga belt allows for deeper stretches for the body to grow beyond your usual limitations. Performing inversions in the belt allows your body to surrender to gravity, creating traction in the spine for it to elongate and return to it’s correct alignment, relieving any discomfort from compression in your joints caused by everyday life.
Our ethos at FlyHigh yoga is to FlyHigh and have fun, and I promise you nothing less! 💫

Things will be a little bit different due to COVID-19 restrictions, but I will advise these practices closer to the date. Looking forward to getting back into the belt with you all!

12 minute posture improving flow!

You can do it now or save for later🧘🏽‍♀️

We all currently find ourselves to be working from home, sitting for long periods of the day at makeshift work stations that were not designed for purpose in these uncertain Covid times. As a result our postures are suffering and in turn so is our feeling of wellbeing. So I thought I would film a little flow to help combat the slump, because a perfect posture will not only lift your body but will also lift your mood 😌

Relieving any discomfort you may be experiencing from compression in your joints caused b everyday life... something we all desperately need and is also super relaxing. What’s not to love, so hang, swing and enjoy!
