Metabolic food is food which is easy to digest, and solves the stress issue caused by cell starvation, which are cells living off stress.

It is going to interrupt your chaotic hormonal pattern caused by stress and imbalance, and start to train your body to stop living off the stress hormones and instead living off the nutrient provided with energy boosting metabolic food resulting in healthier adrenal and strong and supportive nervous & digestive system.

Here we are almost halfway through this year!! I’m not sure what to think of it yet 🤷‍♀️ do you?

I know for sure I need an energy boost from time to time 💚

After all who doesn’t love to sink their teeth into some healthy cookie dough 😋 especially if it is raw vegan 🌱

So here goes, I’ll share my hormone balancing recipe with you 💖 tell me how you get on with it in comments below (but save it 👉 if you’re too busy to start now)

2 cups buckwheaties (dehydrated buckwheats) or shelled hempseed
2 cups ground ?Brazil nuts
4 tablespoons coconut nectar
2 tablespoons Cacao
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons coconut oil, gently melted

How to do it?
Mix ingredients in a food processor or by hand, until it becomes an even paste. Roll into 20 even balls and flatten with your thumb or with a back of a tablespoon.

There is no two-way street about hormone balance and omega 3. Lack of omega 3 causes inflammation and an imbalance in your hormone levels.

Furthermore, omega-3 is important for the development of healthy tissue and good joint function.
Omega-3 fatty acids play an important role and are an important nutrient to proper function of so many of your body's systems. It is a good source of lignans which help to balance the hormones as they have weak estrogen effect and as thus work as an anti estrogen and help to reduce overproduction of estrogen in your body and help to keep things in check!

Having 1-3 teaspoons a day with your lunch for example helps to keep you healthy and reduce stress level and all of the above.

Women are, by nature, goal setters. Whether it is about ticking off that home to-do-list before 6pm or setting targets for our business, those goals become your driving force and what you put your focus on.

Female entrepreneurs are joggling more tasks than ever. Especially when having a family.
Your goals become your end game and it's only when you've have achieved these goals that you believe that success is achieved.

But what if, success isn’t actually about what happens when you achieve your goals at all, but is in fact what happens to you on the long and wobbly journey to getting there?

Building your business or creating your empire is one of a challenging journey; There are so many emotions involved from “oh goodness what the FROTH am I even doing?!” to something magically working out as planned and you’re like ‘Yes! I Got This!’

Five minutes later, something throws a spanner into the works and you get overwhelmed with self doubt and thoughts of ‘I should never have started this’.

From my own experience, in the past I never gave myself credit for the small wins. I kept on pushing until there wasn't anything to push anymore.

The tendency to focus too much on the end result, and if that end goal doesn’t actually pan out as anticipated, you feel like an utter failure when in fact, what you have achieved, learned and overcome along the way is a big deal and deserves recognition.

Avoid burnout, pat yourself on the back from time to time and allow yourself to celebrate the small gains. Look at this as self motivation and an inspiration to continue reaching that bigger picture you have painted for yourself.

Luckily there is more and more research being done on the hormonal function of your body than before. Still not enough though. However what we now know is that you can ease the effect of aging by simple tweaks.

And btw did you know that your hormonal level starts to dwindle in your 30's already?

Your skin is your body's biggest organ. Make the best effort to nurture it with natural plant-based products whenever possible.
Staying physically active, even just a 30 min walk per day, can slow down the signs of aging and keep your mind agile.
Your mental health plays a big role, as stress can speed up the signs of aging.
Minding your diet is another very important factor and getting good quality sleep regularly can wipe off years

Antioxidants are molecules that fight free radicals in your body.

If the levels of the free radicals in your body become too high, they can cause all sorts of problems for you.
Eating good quality food, not highly processed, as fresh as possible is vital for you to keep your 'machine' going and your energy levels intact. Especially fruits, vegetables and whole foods are of the essence.
Berries, dark chocolate (yum we like that), green tea and coffee are all known to have antioxidant effects, although coffee and chocolate should be consumed in moderation for various reasons.

Several vitamins are high in antioxidants like Vitamin C and E and some antioxidants supplements. Furthermore the vitamin B group contributes to healthy metabolism which also helps your body to fight off these scavenges. HOwever relying mainly on the vitamins to help you out here can have a reversed effect.

I know firsthand how challenging it can be, as a multi entrepreneur, to maintain a good and stable diet throughout the day, months and year.
Your busy schedule keeps you bombarded with tasks and choices on a daily basis to get everything done within the given time frame and it can be tempting (although mostly involuntarily) to put your health on the back burner.

Eating a rainbow of vegetables and good healthy fats helps to ensure healthy hormonal balance.

Stress is the biggest culprit for causing imbalances in the body. Stress can cause inflammation, miscommunication between cells and receptors and this can send you spiralling down the fatigue, exhaustion, and dysfunctional health route.

Essentially, dietary fibre will stop extracted oestrogen from being reabsorbed back into the bloodstream from the gut. Which then would affect your liver and so forth.

Breakfast, my favourite meal of the day.

What you consume in the morning when you get up will set the energy for the day. Same goes for the snack you choose during the day. Especially in between meals. Having a handful of almonds will nourish your hormones and your skin due to magnesium and vitamin E.
By consuming more veggies you get more fibres and can say goodbye to sluggish colon.

You see, it isn't so complicated or difficult. It is just to have the knowledge or the plan in front of you so there is one less thing to worry about when you are running your busy schedule.
