A bit late on this one but I had a great time chatting with Shay Kaur Grewal on a few weeks back.
We discussed the importance of watching your sugar intake from fruit, especially in juices and smoothies.
Yes you can have too much!
Your daily fruit and vegetable intake should be max 2-3 fruits and 7-8 vegetables.
If you are getting some of your daily intake from juices or smoothies, then try to make sure you have a ratio of 80 vegetable to 20% fruit in your diet.
Fructose in fruit is still sugar.
Too much will impact your energy levels, spike your blood sugars and for particularly sensitive people (ie: those with SIBO and some IBS disorders or arthritis) might find it makes symptoms worse.
Be conscious with kids too. Constantly feeding fruit as a snack can cause blood sugar spikes and tooth decay.
Aim to get your vegetable consumption up as much as possible!
