EFT for Depression in Menopausal Women
Menopause can bring significant emotional challenges - including depression.
But this study highlights just how impactful EFT can be.
In a randomised controlled trial of 88 women with mild to moderate depression, researchers compared:
🔹 EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)
🔹 Control group (sham therapy)
Over 8 weeks, the results were clear…
The results:
✨ Depression decreased by 47.45% in the EFT group
✨ 63.4% of participants were no longer classified as depressed
✨ EFT significantly outperformed the control group
✨ And importantly:
While both groups showed some improvement, EFT led to far greater reductions in depressive symptoms, and more women moving out of the clinical range altogether.
What this highlights:
Even in hormonally complex life stages like menopause, supporting the nervous system can create meaningful and measurable change.
