We're at the National Association of Virtual School Heads Conference in Aintree! 📢

This week, we're speaking to delegates about how our SDQ training can support Virtual Schools in ensuring consistency, accuracy, and impact in assessing children's wellbeing.

✅ Consistency Across Schools – Our training helps Virtual Schools implement a standardised approach to Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaires (SDQs), ensuring that every child’s needs are identified in a fair and reliable way.

✅ Informed Decision-Making – By equipping staff with the skills to interpret SDQ results effectively, we empower schools to make data-driven interventions that truly support children’s emotional and mental health.

✅ Better Outcomes for Children – When schools have a clear and consistent approach to wellbeing assessments, they can provide targeted support that meets each child’s individual needs, leading to improved engagement, stability, and long-term success.

We're excited to connect with Virtual School Heads and explore how we can work together to support the children who need it most! If you're attending the conference, come and see us on stand 49 and 50.

See you there.

Today sees the launch of the .

The decline in young people's mental health is one of the biggest health, social, and economic challenges of our time.

That's why the Children and Young People's Mental Health Coalition (CYPMHC) calls for immediate and scalable steps from the Government to close the treatment gap and provide earlier support that prevents problems from escalating.

This includes:
1. Increase investment in children and young people’s mental health services, with a commitment to meet 70% of diagnosable needs by the end of this Parliament.

2. The full rollout of Mental Health Support Teams by the end of this Parliament, with a commitment to adapt the model to meet a broader range of needs.

3. The delivery of open-access mental health services for children and young people in every community.

4. A comprehensive children and young people’s mental health workforce plan.

5. An independent Government-commissioned review to examine the causes of the rise in prevalence in children and young people’s mental health.

6. Increase council funding to support investment in prevention and early intervention.
