Deep Relaxation Evening – Feedback ✨

I held my first Deep Relaxation Evening last night and wanted to share some of the lovely feedback from those who came along 💛

One lady shared that by the end of the session she couldn’t feel her sciatica pain, and another said she felt deeply relaxed, noticed shifts in her body temperature during the Reiki, and even felt a little light and floaty coming back round.

It was such a calm, gentle space and exactly what I hoped to create — a place where you can fully switch off, reset, and be supported.

I’ll be running another session next month and I’ve had lovely interest from local mums wanting to come along too, which is just amazing 🤍

This space is perfect if you’re feeling overwhelmed, tired, or just need some time for yourself.

What a day at the Big Purple Psychic Fair 🤍

I’ve just got home and I’m honestly so grateful…

I had the opportunity to connect with 9 people today through readings, each one completely different, but all so meaningful in their own way.

There’s something really special about sitting with someone, tuning in and being able to bring through the clarity, reassurance and understanding they need in that moment.

Days like today remind me why I do this work.

I'm grateful to everyone who sat with me, trusted the process and shared their energy with me 🤍

Relationships can have a powerful effect on our nervous system.

When communication feels unclear, when we feel unsure where we stand, or when emotional ups and downs become frequent, the body can move into a state of alert without us even realising.

We may notice:

overthinking conversations
feeling on edge
waiting for messages
feeling emotionally unsettled
difficulty switching off mentally
feeling drained rather than supported

Healthy relationships often feel steady, safe and balanced.

Uncertainty or inconsistency can create internal tension that builds over time.

Clarity in relationships doesn’t just help the mind — it helps the whole nervous system feel calmer.

You deserve connections that feel grounding, not destabilising.

Many people are carrying more tension than they realise.

When life feels busy or overwhelming, the nervous system can remain in a constant state of alert, making it difficult to fully switch off.

Here are some gentle practices from different traditions that can help support a sense of calm:

• Try the physiological sigh
Inhale through your nose, take a second short inhale on top, then slowly exhale through your mouth. Repeat a few times.

• Place one hand on your heart
Rest one hand on your heart and one on your stomach. Sit quietly for a minute or two and allow your body to soften.

• Lengthen your exhale
Gently make your out breath slightly longer than your in breath. This can signal safety to the nervous system.

• Try soft humming
A quiet hum or soft sound can create vibration that helps the body settle and release tension.

• Feel your feet on the ground
Notice the support beneath you. Imagine any pressure slowly moving downwards throughyour body.

• Gently shake out tension
Softly shake out your hands or legs for 30–60 seconds. This can help release built-up stress.

Small moments of intentional calm can begin to help the mind feel clearer and more supported.

You don’t need hours of free time to reconnect with stillness.

Even a few minutes can make a difference 🤍
