🌼🐰 Happy Easter from Just Being Me Events Collective CIC 🐰🌼

This Easter, we’re celebrating everything that makes our community so special – connection, joy, and the freedom to simply be yourself.

At Just Being Me Events Collective CIC, we believe everyone deserves to feel welcomed, valued, and included. Whether you’re spending today with family, friends, or taking a moment just for you, we hope it’s filled with happiness, laughter, and little moments of magic.

Just like spring brings new beginnings, we look forward to creating more unforgettable, inclusive experiences together in the months ahead.

Thank you for being part of our community – where everyone belongs 💛

Wishing you a joyful and peaceful Easter,
Rina & Gabi 🌷

Today we recognise World Autism Awareness Day 💙

At Just Being Me Events Collective CIC, we stand with the global community in celebrating neurodiversity and amplifying autistic voices. This day, recognised by the United Nations, is about more than awareness — it’s about acceptance, inclusion, and ensuring every autistic person can live a full and meaningful life.

This year’s theme, “Autism and Humanity – Every Life Has Value”, reminds us that when we embrace different ways of thinking and experiencing the world, we build stronger, more creative, and more inclusive communities for everyone.

Autistic people contribute so much to our society — and it’s our responsibility to break down barriers, challenge stigma, and create spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

Let’s move beyond awareness into action:
✨ Listen to lived experiences
✨ Create inclusive spaces
✨ Celebrate differences
✨ Advocate for equality

Because inclusion isn’t optional — it’s essential.

We’re so grateful for all the love and support so far 💜

Every donation, share, and message has meant the world — and it’s reminded us just how special our SEND disco is. For so many, it’s more than a night out… it’s a safe space to feel included, make friends, and just be yourself.

Every bit of support right now really matters.

If you can donate, even a small amount helps. If not, sharing this could reach someone who can.

Thank you for helping us keep something so special going 💜

Neurodiversity Celebration Week – Day 4 Spotlight: Dyspraxia 💜

Today, Just Being Me Events Collective CIC is highlighting Dyspraxia as part of our Neurodiversity Celebration Week series.

Dyspraxia, also known as Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), affects movement, coordination and sometimes organisation or planning skills. It can make tasks such as writing, sports, time management or everyday organisation more challenging.

Dyspraxia does not affect intelligence, and many dyspraxic individuals have valuable strengths and perspectives.

People with dyspraxia often demonstrate qualities such as determination, creativity, resilience, empathy, adaptability, big-picture thinking and problem-solving abilities.

With understanding and the right support, people with dyspraxia can flourish in education, work and everyday life.

Neurodiversity Celebration Week – Day 1 Spotlight: Autism 💜

Today, Just Being Me Events Collective CIC is highlighting Autism as part of our Neurodiversity Celebration Week series.

Autism is a lifelong neurodevelopmental difference that affects how people communicate, interact with others and experience the world. Autistic people may experience sensory differences, prefer routine or communicate in different ways — but they also often bring strengths such as attention to detail, honesty, deep focus and innovative thinking.

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day from Just Being Me Events Collective CIC 🌸

Today we celebrate the incredible women who shape us, guide us, and inspire us every single day — our mums. 💜

As a woman-led company, the strength behind everything we do comes from the powerful women who raised us. And today, we want to give a special shout out to our mum — a truly remarkable woman whose love, resilience, and unwavering support laid the foundation for who we are today. She taught us to be strong, to believe in ourselves even when things are tough, and to always lead with kindness and purpose.

The journey of Just Being Me Events Collective CIC started long before the business — it started with the values she instilled in us, the encouragement she gave us, and the example she set every single day. She is our inspiration, our backbone, and a constant reminder of what strength and love really look like. ✨

We also hold close the love and memories of the incredible mothers and mother figures who are no longer with us. Their wisdom, love, and legacy continue to guide and inspire us every day. 🌷

To all the amazing mothers out there — those with us and those watching over us — thank you for everything you give. The world is brighter because of you.

We are completely overwhelmed by the love and support you’ve shown since we launched our fundraiser. 💜

The donations, the shares, the messages… every single one has meant so much to us. Seeing our community come together like this has been incredibly emotional, and it reminds us just how special our SEND events are.

For so many people, this night isn’t just a disco. It’s a place where everyone can feel safe, welcomed, and free to be themselves. It’s the smiles on the dance floor, the friendships being made, and the joy that fills the room every time the music starts.

Knowing how much this night means to people is exactly why we’re fighting so hard to keep it going.

If you’ve already donated or shared the fundraiser, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are helping keep something truly special alive.

If you’re able to donate, even the smallest amount makes a difference. And if you can’t donate right now, sharing the fundraiser helps more than you know.

Thank you for being part of this amazing community.
