God Almighty,
We thank You for the precious gift of freedom You have granted to our beloved nation, Sierra Leone. On this day, we remember the sacrifices of our forefathers who fought for our independence, and we honor their courage and vision.
God, we commit our country into Your hands. May You guide our leaders with wisdom, integrity, and compassion so that they may govern with justice and fairness. Help them to put the needs of the people above personal gain.
God, bring peace to every corner of Sierra Leone. Heal divisions among tribes, regions, and communities, and unite us as one people with a common purpose. Let love, tolerance, and understanding prevail among us.
We pray for progress and development in our nation. Bless the work of our hands, strengthen our economy, and provide opportunities for the youth. Help us to overcome poverty, corruption, and injustice.
God, protect our land from harm and disaster. Let Your grace continue to sustain us, and may Your light shine upon Sierra Leone now and forever.
As we celebrate this independence, help us to be responsible citizens, committed to building a better and stronger nation for generations to come.
