💪 Cut vs Bulk – what’s the difference? ⚖️
A lot of people start training and get confused about whether they should be on a cut or a bulk. Here’s the simplest way to explain it:
🔥 Cut – when you want to lose fat, you eat fewer calories than you burn. The goal is a leaner, more defined look while maintaining muscle.
🍽️ Example: clean eating, slight calorie deficit, higher protein.
💥 Bulk – when you want to gain muscle, you eat more calories than you burn. The goal is strength and growth, but it usually comes with a bit of extra fat.
🍽️ Example: higher carbs and energy for heavy training.
✅ Both have their role! Cut gives you definition, bulk gives you strength and size. The most important thing is to know where you are right now and what your goal is.
⚡ Cut = calorie deficit → burn fat
⚡ Bulk = calorie surplus → build muscle
