Today is World Parkinson’s Day, marked on the birthday of Dr. James Parkinson, who first described the condition over 200 years ago. It’s about raising awareness, reducing stigma, and accelerating research toward better treatments and ultimately a cure - while recognising the very real challenges faced by those living with Parkinson’s today.
For many people, Parkinson’s is not only about movement, but also fatigue, confidence, independence, and quality of life. Our mission of accessible and high-quality therapy - built alongside the people who rely on it most - is formed by these needs and drives us to continue innovating every day.
Recently, we partnered with East Carolina University to run clinical research in biokinematics and clinical applications, and we were reminded that seeing the smiles and enjoyment using NeuroVirt brings can be such a reward in itself as we strive to make lives better.
Today - and always - we stand with the Parkinson’s community, and everyone working to improve care and dignity for people living with neurological conditions.
