40 isn’t too late to dream big…

For me that looks like shaping my career with a variety of ways to help connect with women

Always working on my own health and fitness goals

And understanding how to create boundaries around my existence

Because it’s so easy to live, breathe and continuously work inside my business, coach, teach… consistently learning, investing and not ever really taking a day off despite truly loving what I do

Plus Aprils been a little heavy so far

Was nice to take a step back and get away from screens for a couple hours

Work on a little vision board session; although I think I am actually doing most of this already 😂

“Yes I need a new shed” after a storm blew mine down about 2yrs ago

Anyway, I think this might be nice to do as a break out session, as a fitness based one for my clients on our next in person event

If you’re approaching 40…

and something as small as an Easter egg still makes you question everything you’re doing…

that’s the problem

It’s not the chocolate

It’s the fact you don’t fully trust what your body is doing anymore

Because you are trying

You’re somewhat tracking

You’re being mindful

You’re making better choices

But the second the scale moves up…

or you eat something “off plan”…

your head goes straight to:

“I’ve ruined it”

“I need to be stricter”

And it’s that cycle keeping you stuck

At this stage, your body isn’t hopeless…

but it is more sensitive

More carbs → more water retention

Less sleep → higher scale weight

More stress → slower recovery

So the scale moves quickly…

and you assume it’s fat

It’s not

But what actually stalls your progress?

Constantly resetting

Being overly strict, then falling off

Never staying consistent long enough to see what actually works

You don’t need to cut everything out

You need a way of eating that holds up on:

• weekends

• holidays

• social events

• busy work weeks

Because that’s your real life - stop thinking it’s a competition, or waiting for perfect conditions because they are not coming

The women who get results in their 40s aren’t the most disciplined

They’re the ones who stopped swinging between extremes

and finally learned how to stay consistent through everything

And the shelves are still fully stocked

Funny how people will still grab one of each, or fill their trollies for everyone in the family, the neighbours without thinking

No questions asked

It’s just what we do right?!

Even if you’ve managed to rack up over £100 on shaped chocolate

But when it comes to investing in nutritious food…

Or a coach to help them feel better, move more, or drop body fat sustainably?

Suddenly it’s “too expensive” “Too much” “Maybe later”

This isn’t about chocolate

This is about where your money, mindset, and habits align
