Before I tell you our latest North Pole News, I want to thank you all SO much for supporting my small business this year. It really means the world to be invited to be part of your family’s Christmas celebrations and childhood traditions.
Breaking news from the North Pole confirms that The Sleigh’s departure (which actually takes off early to make it all around the world!) went off with a festive flourish and only the smallest number of hiccups ...
The Chief Sleigh Coordinator, supervised the final checks while the Reindeer were treated to celebratory scoops of their Midnight Flight Blend (with extra sparkle).
Antlers were polished to a high shine, bells were tested twice and jingled once ‘just for luck,’ and The Sleigh underwent a last-minute inspection after someone left a thermos in the footwell.
The launch countdown was restarted three times - once for a loose ribbon, once for a missing mitten, and once because someone insisted the stars weren’t quite aligned - but once Father Christmas gave his unmistakable Ho Ho Ho, the Sleigh lifted smoothly into the sky and disappeared into the night.
Back in the Workshop, calm has finally returned. The presses are quiet, the desks are cleared, and the last stray envelopes have been gathered into teetery tottery towers. The Candy Cane Twine has been neatly wound, the lights dimmed, and the kettles are on.
Now the Elves are pulling on their cosiest socks, settling by the fire with hot chocolate and mince pies, and preparing for their annual Christmas Party - where stories will be swapped, mishaps confessed, and someone will inevitably fall asleep before the final carol.
All that remains is to wait for the morning and hear about tonight’s adventures, knowing that Christmas is officially underway.
We really hope you’ve had lots of fun with your letters this year. It’s certainly been totally fantastic for us putting them all together!
For now we’d like to wish you and your families the most wonderful festivities with a generous sprinkling of Christmas Magic for you all.
.. and never be too old to search the skies on Christmas Eve.
