✨ 5 Tips to Stay Focused When You’re Feeling Overwhelmed ✨

🌀 Life onboard can feel intense, long hours, high standards, and little personal space. When overwhelm creeps in, here are 5 ways to steady your mind and stay focused:
1️⃣ Breathe Deeply – Pause for 60 seconds. Inhale through your nose, hold, then exhale slowly. Repeat 5 times to reset.
2️⃣ Break It Down – Big tasks? Divide them into smaller steps. Focus on one thing at a time instead of the whole mountain.
3️⃣ Move Your Body – A quick stretch or walk on deck releases tension and boosts concentration.
4️⃣ Ground Yourself – Name 5 things you see, 4 you can touch, 3 you hear, 2 you smell, 1 you taste. It brings you back to the present.
5️⃣ Ask for Support – You’re not alone. Reach out to a teammate or speak with someone you trust—sometimes sharing is the best release.
