Stuart Haymes - Having the ADHD diagnosis so much of my life makes sense to me now!

So after five months of study today I passed my Su***de and Self-Harm Prevention uni course, and it means much more to me than just a certificate.

I chose to do this course because of my own personal struggles in the past. I know what it can feel like to be in a dark place, to feel overwhelmed, and to believe that no one truly understands.

Those experiences shaped me, but they also gave me a deep desire to help others who might be going through something similar.

Taking this course wasn’t just about learning the signs or the right words to say, it was about turning my own experiences into something positive.

If my journey can help me recognise when someone else is struggling, listen without judgment, or help someone feel less alone, then every step has been worth it.

Mental health matters. Conversations matter. And sometimes just being there for someone can make more of a difference than we realise.

I’m proud to have taken this step and grateful to keep learning on how to support others. 💚

Eight months ago I left an industry of which I served in for twenty eight years because of a mental health breakdown that nearly resulted in the end of me and waking up in hospital.

At the age of forty four I found out I had ADHD which now all makes sense having that diagnosis as to why I was struggling so much.

My media and wellness company launches in April which I’m hoping will be a great success. We keep learning , we keep growing and we stay strong!

I’m going to keep winning in life to show everyone it can just be done with the right mentality! And for all those who walked out on me, You can read all about it someday.

This one is for my sons x
