Through compassionate and insightful conversation, we’ll build a kinder relationship with yourself, develop practical coping strategies, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward a life that feels more grounded and authentic.

I’ll be with you to encourage self compassion and acceptance that leads to healing and growth.

I offer a free initial conversation where we can talk openly without any pressure - this can be booked through my website: https://www.selfacceptance.co.uk/contact

So true 😔

So true 😔

This is so true!
When we say we're 'fine' we automatically put a wall up between us and our grief.
If we say we're 'fine' then other people just assume we're doing okay (which usually isn't the case.)
It's better to speak our truth and say something like, "Terrible, thanks for asking."
That gives whoever we're saying it to a chance to support us.
We all need to work on being better than just 'fine'.

Thank you Kelci Jager

Being in touch with our own feelings helps our own growth and empathic understanding. As person-centred therapists we are not the experts but acts as a facilitator alongside the clients journey of self-discovery. This is where dissatisfaction and incongruence can be found amongst our true feelings. With true positive regard and care resolution can be found.
genuineness, and acceptance.

Central to Carl Rogers’ person-centred therapy is the actualising tendency concept. This is the innate motivational drive in all living organisms to maintain, grow, and enhance themselves.
For people our urge to achieve full potential and continuous growth is best supported by an environment of empathy, genuineness, and acceptance. https://www.selfacceptance.co.uk
