🪞 End of year reflections have always been insightful and inspirational so why should this year be any different.

🤲🏼 I am eternally grateful to my team of colleagues, friends and insta family who have supported me to do what I love.

👩🏽‍⚕️ Osteopathic Medicine was literally in my 🦴 bones from a very young age and I can safely say that 22 years on I still couldn’t think of anything better than helping people to help themselves.

🌷 World Menopause Day 🌷

💃🏽 Most women will experience menopausal symptoms - just like I did following my chemotherapy.

🛑 Some of these can be quite severe and have a significant impact on your everyday activities.

ℹ️ Common symptoms include:
🔥 Hot flushes
🦴 Bone and muscle aches
😓 Night sweats
👙 Vaginal dryness and
discomfort during s*x
🧽 Hormonal Acne
🛌 Insomnia
😔 Low mood or anxiety
🛟 Reduced s*x drive (libido)
🧠 Problems with memory and
concentration.

⏰ Menopausal symptoms can begin months or even years before your periods stop and last around 4 years after your last period, although some women experience them for much longer.

🤔 I wish I knew what the signs and symptoms would have looked like when I went through my ‘change’ during at the age of 43.

📚 I alongside two other wellness experts and menopause queens are holding a South Asian Wellness Event in Northwood next month and we can not wait to empower, educate and enlighten you with our first hand experiences and expertise.

🌸 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🌸

👩🏽‍⚕️ As a Consultant Osteopath
I see and treat all types of conditions and the centre where I am based in Stanmore/ Elstree specialises in both orthopaedics and woman’s health.

🎀 As someone who has been touched with this breast cancer disease, twice, I can not stress the importance of checking for lumps and bumps on a regular basis.

👙 It is important to be breast aware so you notice any changes as soon as possible.

👏🏼Get to know what is normal for you – for instance, your breasts may look or feel different at different times of your life. This will make it easier to notice potential problems.

☕️ To raise awareness for breast cancer, I alongside 3 other amazing supporters have arranged a very special soulful coffee morning on;
