Berry good news… I have a delicious healthy lolly recipe to share 🫐🍓

These are packed with frozen blueberries, mixed berries, spinach, raw honey and apple juice. That is it. No nasties, just goodness on a stick.

And before you scroll past at the mention of spinach, trust me, you cannot taste it at all. It just gives these lollies the most beautiful deep colour.

Burnout doesn’t just happen all at once, it creeps in.

You start feeling more tired than usual, your sleep’s off, and you feel constantly “on”, like everything is a bit more overwhelming than it should be.

Most of us just push through it, but that’s not the answer.

It’s not a discipline problem, it’s your nervous system being in overdrive for too long.

You don’t need to push harder, you probably need to pause.

Calm isn’t a luxury, it’s where your power is.

I love grounding. It doesn’t have to be a big thing, and it’s so easy to do and so effective.

This was me earlier today. Standing in the garden, kids running around, taking a moment with my littlest just to pause and breathe.

A small moment to slow down and feel your feet on the ground.

It’s not always quiet or calm, but you can still come back to yourself within it.

I always come back to the basics first, breath, fresh air, water, real food.

Then moments like this, woven into the day with my kids.

If you want to try it, focus on the feeling of the ground beneath you.
Breathe deeply and imagine your feet growing roots, sinking into the earth, grounding you and holding you. Breathe it in and connect with the earth. Even a couple of minutes can make a difference, longer if you have the time.

I wanted to share some of my favourite tools I use which really help me, especially when I feel overwhelmed, overstimulated or just off.

In addition to these I always come back to the basics first. Breath, fresh air, water and nutrition.

But sometimes I need something a little deeper, or something that resonates with me that day to help shift how I’m feeling and ground me.

✨Crystals - not a magic fix, but something I come back to when I need extra support. They help anchor me into the present and reconnect to my energy. I select which crystal intuitively feels right
⚡️Palo santo (or sage) - amazing for energy clearing the space around me and creating a moment to reset.
🎶 Sound - even something simple like listening to music can help shift my energy and bring me back to calm. I love listening to crystal sound baths or a song I love.
🧘🏼‍♀️Reiki - as a practitioner, this is something I use on myself as much as with others. It helps calm my nervous system and gently shift my energy
🩷silence - the most underrated one of all. Coming back to my breath, pausing, and giving myself a moment.

For me, grounding is about creating space to come back to myself. Even if it is only 5 minute and selecting a tool which fits with where I am at on that day.
