I wanted to post here in light of recent events in the UK. The scenes we have witnessed on the news, social media, or even experienced personally, have been deeply troubling. My heartfelt sympathies and deepest condolences go out to the families and loved ones of all those who have so tragically lost their lives and to all those affected by these appalling incidents.

Below is some information for support and reporting services. These organisations are here to help, whether you are directly affected or seeking to report or challenge hate crimes in your community. Please reach out to them for support and/or to offer signposting.

Sending everyone peaceful wishes. Continue to take care and stay safe. 🩵

"Grief is like the ocean; it comes in waves, ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim."

The death of a loved one or the loss of anything significant in your life (a pet, a relationship, even a job). You may feel lost and full of conflicting emotions - anger, grief, hopelessness. You may not want to talk with friends and family; nobody can tell you what to expect and how to cope. Nobody can replace what you have lost, but having somebody to talk to at such times can be comforting.

If you want to reach out and talk about what is on your mind, you can find a qualified counsellor on our Accredited Register here:
