HealthyHer Money Mind Money and emotional wellbeing for women who want clarity, confidence, and calm in their financial lives. No shame. No pressure.

HealthyHer Money Mind is a podcast for women who want clarity, confidence, and calm in their financial lives. Money and emotional wellbeing are deeply connected, yet most of us carry that load quietly. Hosted by Alina, a financial coach, and Jenni, a mental health specialist, each episode blends real stories, gentle honesty, and simple actions that fit into real lives, not perfect ones. Here you’ll find support, insight, and conversations that help you move from overwhelm to confidence. Just a safe space to understand yourself and your money. 💛 Planning the year ahead without pressure

The festive season has a way of doing this.

Lovely conversations.
Warm moments.

And then…
unsolicited advice.
Well-meant opinions.
Comments you didn’t ask for, but somehow still carry.

Here’s a kinder reminder:

Feedback is information.
Not instruction.

You get to choose what you do with it.

So many New Year plans fall apart because they’re built on pressure.
More goals.
More fixing.
More proving.

This year, what if we chose something gentler?

A Focus Word.

Not a resolution.
Not a target.
Just a steady guide.

One word that quietly supports:
💛 money decisions
💛 boundaries
💛 energy
💛 priorities
💛 feelings

When everything feels noisy, your word brings you back to centre.

That’s planning with intention, not perfection.

👇
If you feel like sharing, what’s the word you’re carrying into the year ahead?

If this way of thinking speaks to you, the HealthyHer Money Mind podcast is now available on all major platforms — where we talk about money, wellbeing and decision-making with honesty and care.

And if you’d like gentle, personalised support as you move into the new year, I’m here through coaching too.

No pressure.
Just clarity, when you’re ready.

💛 Share this with someone who could use a kinder way to plan and live in the year ahead.

🎄 Day 12 – On the twelfth day of Christmas, I looked at debt with kinder eyes 💛

Debt carries so much weight.

Not just financially.
Emotionally.

Many people quietly believe that being in debt means they failed.
That they made bad choices.
That they should have known better.

But debt does not tell the full story.

Debt often comes from decisions that made sense at the time.
A home.
An education.
Supporting family.
Getting through a difficult season.
Doing the best you could with what you knew then.

Debt is not who you are.
It is something you are dealing with.

Some debt supports growth and stability.
Some debt creates pressure and stress.

The difference matters.

What matters even more is bringing debt into the open, gently and honestly.

When debt stays hidden, it grows louder in your head.
When it’s acknowledged, it becomes something you can work with.

Debt is temporary.
It belongs inside your wider financial picture, not at the centre of your identity.

You can reduce its cost.
You can plan around it.
You can integrate it into systems that support you.
You can move forward without shame.

✨ Today’s reflection
What meaning have you attached to your debt?

✨ Today’s gentle step
Write down what you owe.
Notice which debt supports your life and which creates pressure.
Choose one small action that gives you a sense of control.

Clarity brings relief.
Kindness restores confidence.

👇
What helps you feel less alone with debt?

And if this resonates, our newly launched podcast HealthyHer Money Mind is now available on all major platforms, where we talk openly about money, mindset and rebuilding confidence without judgement.

🎄 Day 11 – On the eleventh day of Christmas… money talk: a tale of two halves, real strength and inclusion 💛

Money conversations can feel uncomfortable.

Not because of the numbers.
But because money touches power, confidence, access and vulnerability.

In many relationships, money becomes a tale of two halves.

One person
feels confident to speak.
learned the language of money early.
is used to making decisions.

The other
feels unsure or excluded.
never quite felt invited into the conversation.
carries silence, self-doubt, or hesitation.

That imbalance can quietly create distance.
Avoidance.
Defensiveness.
Things left unsaid.

But real financial strength doesn’t come from one person knowing more or doing more.

It comes from both people feeling included.

This is where the work – and the quiet magic – of financial inclusion begins.

Not with products or policies.
But with conversations that feel safe enough for honesty.

Money conversations are not about agreeing on everything.
They’re about feeling safe enough to be real.

When both people feel safe to speak, something softens.
You stop protecting your position.
You start noticing each other’s strengths.

One person might bring structure and planning.
The other might bring intuition and adaptability.
One might focus on security.
The other on possibility.

All of it belongs.

When couples allow space for different experiences, triggers and confidence levels, decisions start to come from clarity instead of fear.

This is what helps people stay honest, even in hard seasons.
Loss.
Illness.
Change.
Uncertainty.

Nothing has to be hidden.
No one has to pretend.

✨ Today’s reflection
Where do you feel confident with money, and where do you feel unsure or left out?

✨ Today’s gentle step
Create space for one inclusive conversation.
Not to fix everything.
Just to listen and learn.

Ask one question.
Share one truth.
Let the other person stand fully in theirs.

That’s where shared strength grows.

And if this resonates, our newly launched podcast HealthyHer Money Mind is now available on all major platforms, where we talk openly about money, relationships, inclusion and emotional wellbeing with care and honesty.

💛 Share this with someone you want to build with, not protect yourself from.

🎄 DAY 10 – On the tenth day of Christmas... blindspots and 10X peace of mind through protection💛

There are parts of money we like to plan for.

Growth.
Progress.
Best-case scenarios.
The future we hope for.

And then there are the parts we quietly avoid.

Not because we don’t care.
But because they feel emotional.
Vulnerable.
Uncomfortable.

Taking deliberate action to put protection in place forces us to ask questions many of us would rather not sit with.

What am I scared of losing?
Who depends on me more than I realise?
What would change if my health, income, or capacity shifted suddenly?
What would happen if I couldn’t show up the way I do now?

Avoiding these questions can feel like optimism.
But often, it’s fear trying to keep us comfortable.

Here’s the gentle reframe.

Protection isn’t pessimistic.
It’s caring.

It’s looking at the people, stability and independence you value and saying, 'This matters enough to protect.'

When protection is missing, anxiety fills the space instead.
When it’s in place, something softens inside you.

This isn’t about expecting the worst.
It’s about being preparing for any reality.

✨ Today’s reflection
What is one thing in your life you would struggle to replace if it disappeared tomorrow?

✨ Tiny action
Choose one area where you feel a little exposed rather than supported.

Ask one question.
Check one document.
Start one conversation.

You do not need to fix everything.
You just need to stop pretending the blind spot is not there.

👇
What is one thing you want to protect more intentionally?

🎄 DAY 9 - On the ninth day of Christmas ... resilience and the whole 9 yards of bouncing back. ✨💚

Let’s talk about something every woman deserves, but not every woman feels…

A sense of financial safety.

Not luxury.
Not perfection.
Not “I’ve mastered money forever.”

Just safety.
Security.
Room to breathe.

Real resilience is a blend of emotional and financial strength, and it comes from five core pillars:

💛Stable earnings

💛Sustainable spending

💛Good debt

💛Shock absorbers (like an emergency fund)

💛Money at work (savings + investing)

You don’t need to “master” all five.
You just need to gently strengthen one.
One at a time.
At your own pace.

✨ Today’s reflection
Resilience is not about coping with everything.
It’s about being resourced for anything.

🎄 DAY 8 - On the eighth day of Christmas... clarity and eight sorted decisions 💛

If you have felt overwhelmed lately, you are not failing.
You are overloaded.

This time of year makes everything feel urgent.

Money decisions.
Family decisions.
Work decisions.
Emotional decisions.
The quiet question of “do I even have capacity for one more thing?”

When everything feels urgent, the brain shuts down.
Decision paralysis takes over.
And you start avoiding the very things that would help.

So here's a calming tool you can use today.

The NOW-SOON-LATER filter

NOW supports stability and security.
SOON supports progress and growth.
LATER supports your future self - your freedom of choice.

That’s it.
Three gentle containers for your thoughts.

Nothing gets lost.
Nothing needs to be solved all at once.

✨ Today’s gentle practice
Write down the next 8 decisions on your mind, big or small.

Place each one into
NOW
SOON
LATER

Pause

Then focus on the NOW list only.

That is where your power is Today.

👇
What is one thing going into your NOW box?

🎄 DAY 7 - On the seventh day of Christmas... the ghost of future me showed up.

And asked a question most of us avoid.

Who are you becoming?

Here’s a truth that can feel uncomfortable at first:

Money doesn’t respond to effort alone.
It responds to identity.

We don’t make money decisions with logic and maths.
We make them through the lens of who we believe we are.

If you see yourself as
• bad with money
• always behind
• not financially savvy
• the one who holds everything together
• the one who fixes things for everyone else
your behaviour will quietly follow that story.

Even when the story is outdated.
Even when it no longer fits who you are becoming.

That’s why goals so often fall apart.

Goals focus on outcomes.
Identity shapes behaviour.
Behaviour shapes outcomes.

Today isn’t about pressure or resolutions.
It’s about permission.

✨ Today’s reflection
Allow yourself to REimagine a future version of you.
The one you feel comfortable becoming.

✨ Today’s gentle action
Complete this sentence without overthinking it:

“Next year, I want to be the person who…”

Maybe that person
trusts themselves more
feels calmer with money
asks for help
stops playing small
builds savings steadily
invests for the future
rests without guilt
sets boundaries
says no without apology

If you feel a flutter, resistance, or emotion as you read this, pay attention.
Your body often knows before your mind does.

🎄 DAY 6 – On the sixth day of Christmas, my overdraft reminded me… about six HALT-ing habits. 💛

Most good budgeting intentions don’t cave in at the supermarket.
They quietly leave the room at 10pm.

Not because you’re irresponsible.
But because you’re human.

If you’ve ever overspent when you swore you wouldn’t…
or suddenly cared very deeply about a “50% off until midnight” email…
There’s usually something else going on.

People blame themselves for emotional spending, but here’s the truth:

Emotional spending isn’t a lack of willpower.
It’s a lack of emotional bandwidth.

Meet HALT - four familiar states where your brain struggles to make grounded money decisions:

H – Hungry
A – Angry or Anxious
L – Lonely
T – Tired

When you’re in any of these states, your nervous system is driving.
Logic has clocked off.

And if you’re anything like me, you might recognise a couple of ... bonus states, too:
H – Hot
B – Bloated
(A complimentary gift from Peri & Menopause - and no, they’re not just physical states.)

These six states quietly shape far more spending decisions than we realise.

When you’re in any of them, you’re far more likely to:
• overspend
• “treat yourself” reactively
• buy for comfort, not intention
• chase a quick dopamine hit
• say yes when you really meant no

✨ Today’s reflection
Your spending habits are information – not evidence of failure.

✨ Today’s gentle practice
Notice which HALT state (or bonus state) gets you most.
Then choose one tiny, two-minute interruption habit to break the pattern:

• a glass of water
• a deep breath (or a good scream into your pillow)
• a short walk
• a chat with a friend (or your coach 😉)
• a stretch
• a calming shower

Small actions interrupt emotional patterns.
And emotional patterns shape financial ones.

👇
Which HALT trigger gets you the most?

DAY 5 - On the fifth day of Christmas… FIVE golden shoulds.

Today we’re talking about the sneakiest joy-drainers of them all…

The SHOULDs.

You know them:
“I should be doing more.”
“I should have saved more by now.”
“I should be more organised.”
“I should have fixed this already.”
“I should be better at this.”

Shoulds whisper in your ear when you’re tired, overwhelmed or comparing yourself to someone else’s life.

And here’s the truth:

✨ Most of your shoulds aren’t even yours.
They came from family, school, culture, workplaces, social media, childhood conditioning…
And they quietly drain your energy, your motivation, your self-esteem - and yes, your money.

✨ Today’s gentle practice
Write down one “should” you’re ready to put down.
Then rewrite it as:
“I choose…”
“I value…”
“Right now, what I need is…”

You’ll feel the difference immediately.
Your body knows when a truth finally replaces a burden.

💛 Share your golden should below if you want to free someone else, too.

🎄 DAY 4 - On the fourth day of Christmas, my mind whispered to me… four mental loads. 💛

Today is for the women who feel like they’re carrying everything.

The list-making.
The remembering.
The planning.
The worrying.
The scheduling.
The forecasting.
The “I’ll just sort it” moments.
The silent holding of everyone else’s needs.

And then… the money stress on top of that.

If you feel tired, overwhelmed, stretched or just “on alert” all the time - it’s not a personality flaw.
It’s the mental load.

The emotional labour.
The cognitive load.
The invisible responsibilities that no one sees… but you feel in your body every single day.

✨ Today’s reminder
You can’t budget your way out of burnout.
You can only soften the load you carry.

✨ Tiny action
Name ONE thing you’re no longer willing to carry alone.
And decided who you'll share it with.

Share it here if you want to release it into the world.
Or hold it quietly and let the acknowledgement be the start.

🎄 DAY 3 - On the third day of Christmas, my wisdom said to me… three things I don’t want. ✨

Today is a gentle, honest one.

Before we plan the “new”, let’s release the “no-longer-serving-me”.

Ask yourself:

❌ What exhausted me this year?
❌ What added unnecessary stress?
❌ What would I love to leave behind?

This could be:

Carrying the mental load alone

Saying yes when you were already overwhelmed

Avoiding a money worry

Overspending from stress

Feeling guilty about rest

Taking on more than your fair share

Ignoring your needs

Naming what you don’t want is just as powerful as naming what you do.

✨ Today’s reflection
Write down three things you’re not taking into 2026.
Then choose ONE to gently release.

Tell us in the comments if you want to join the conversation.
You never know who your honesty might help.

DAY 2 - On the second day of Christmas, life gave back to me… two silver linings. ✨

Today is about the moments that made you swear under your breath…

You know the ones:
• The plan that fell apart
• The unexpected bill
• The emotional wobble
• The chaotic school run
• The thing that went wrong at the worst possible time
(all of December basically…)

Now ask yourself this:

Can you laugh about it yet? Even a little?

Here’s the truth:
✨ These moments often grow you in ways the smooth, easy days never could.

Drama + Time = Comedy.
Drama + Reflection = Growth.

Today’s invitation is gentle:
Think of ONE moment from this year that went wrong,
and ask yourself…
“What did this teach me?
And what strength did it reveal?”

You might be surprised by the answer.

Share your silver lining below if you want to join in.
Or keep it close to your heart.
Either way, honour what you learned.
