RUNNING FUEL

Here are my key tips for fuelling your training:
1. Pre and post hydration is more important than during exercise. Hydrate before you run using an electrolyte based drink like Nuun.
2. Sugary chocolate bars might give you a quick energy boost but can leave you feeling drained after the sugar high wears off. Try a 'good fat', natural snack like Pip and Nut. The squeeze packs are perfect when you're on the go.
3. After the session eat fresh, natural foods (avoid processed meals). Whatever you put into your body after training is going to be absorbed and used almost immediately so help you body recover with nutrient dense food.

Afternoon OTR Tribe,

Hope you are all well.

Some exciting news for the VLM this weekend.

1) Tribe cheer prep: Alex Todd is leading this and as it stands at the moment we are meeting at the hub at 11:30/12 for coffee and sign making.

2) Slight change to the cheer point on Sunday. It will be much more convenient to travel to and meet at the 25mile mark (just outside Embankment station)

3) A small Cheer Tribe group will be there from 7/7:30 on Sunday to beat the crowds and get a prime cheering spot 😊

4) More info will be posted on Sat afternoon.
