My views from my walk through Kingsbury Waterpark on Monday aww gorgeous Sunshine hitting the frozen lake :)

And back to reality today with ongoing roadworks in Sawley and then the snow forecast with the most part apparently due to hit the West Midlands tomorrow....(where I live) so bare with me folks as I may not be able to get into clinic but I will keep in touch.

My Christmas break has been lovely; a mixture of karaoke from Christmas day onwards as my daughter got a speaker and microphone Moanna set, cooking for 10 on Christmas Day (it went surprisingly well!), lots of visits to family, lots of food (too much), a trip away to Hargate Hall and Thornbridge Estate for New Years, lots of lovely lies ins and NO gym haha.

Dont beat yourself up or be hard on yourself. January is usually the darkest of months and the coldest. Its a time of reflection, keeping warm and cosy, eating all the leftover food and just generally taking care of yourself.
I saw a post about mums not getting a lovely break over Christmas and thats soo true yet all we see and hear in January is diets, detox's, veganuary, calorie counting and new fitness regimes. You know your body and theres no rush. So relax, get back into some kind of routine at your own pace.

I look forward to seeing you all from this Wednesday when I am back in clinic :) xx

December can go either way for me as in really hectic busy or it drops off due to cancellations, people are away, Christmas is coming; I get it!

So my working days may be condensed in the lead up to Christmas and If I have a day where I dont have many patients in I may be getting in touch to ask if you would kindly move to fill up an alternative day.
I understand this isnt always convenient or do-able and I will always try and accommodate you as much as possible but if I only have 2 or 3 of you in, it isnt really worth me coming in.

Well done Don whos just completed his 70th appointment 👏 👍 👌

Congratulations to my patient Don who completed his 60th appointment on Saturday with us. :)

Don's journey into Chiropractic came after a recommendation from a friend after some back issues.
He has been seeing me since 2017 originally when I worked at Burton and then followed me to Breedon and finally Long Eaton.
Don says "I was in a terrible state the first time I saw Clare but Chiropractic has done alot for me and now I have regular maintenance treatments every 6 weeks" (patient consented to the post)

Suffering from headaches?
More frequent?
Sporadic?

Whether they are new or old PLEASE go and get an eye test. It is so important.

Had a patient in today who has recovered from a quite nasty fall. 3 weeks ago started getting bad headaches across her temples.
GP prescribed meds but never once checked her eyes 👁

I advised her to go get an eye test which she has gone on to book today! Hooray

Probably nothing but at least its another check to see what (if anything) is happening.
