2025 – a Year of Growth 🌱💫

My 2025 goals were:

1)    Get outside more.
I’ve enjoyed lots of woodland and coastal walks with family, friends, and the pooches. James and I had lots of paddleboarding adventures over the summer. However, I’m yet to reignite my love of sea swimming and surfing, and the bike has been in hibernation all year.

2)    Continue to grow and develop my business.
I left one of my two remaining schools which enabled me to expand my business. I've increased my weight training classes to seven a week, launched my monthly wellbeing workshops, held a wellness fundraiser for RSPCA Cornwall, and ran another 10 week Nutrition Support Group. My momentous ending to the year was hosting a Christmas Party for my clients. I feel incredibly lucky to have built this little community of awesome people who have entrusted me to support them with their health and wellbeing 🏋🏼‍♀️🧘🏼‍♀️

In other news…
I've continued to prioritise my own health and wellbeing. I strength train six days a week, not just to build muscle, but to clear the noise in my head and reset for the day ahead. I invested in a coach to teach me some powerlifts and joined KREV’s Metcon class. I’ve developed a love/hate relationship with running, completing some organised runs and trying to run once a week. I followed the Human Being Diet, which re-stabilised my blood sugar levels, improved my energy and helped me shed 12lbs of body fat. I was a judge at the first KELTX competition in October and have signed up to compete in April 2026. Despite being well on my way to 50, I'm at my fittest and healthiest 💪🏼

My 2026 intentions:
➡️ Journey through life with ease and grace.
➡️ More connection with nature.
➡️ Take the biggest leap of faith in my business by leaving education for good.

I'm chuffed to bits that I've managed to book Sonia O’Donnell (Naturopathic Homeopath, NTA health) to deliver a remote talk at my next wellbeing workshop:

🌿Sonia will talk about how natural medicine can be used to build a body you can trust. She will explain how bioresonance testing works and will share simple tools to rebuild your energy, calm your nervous system and support your long term wellness.

✨CLIENT APPRECIATION✨

I hosted my first Christmas Party for all my clients at the weekend, which felt very much out of my comfort zone but also pretty momentous 🎄

Amongst all the smiles and laughter, I took a moment to reflect on just how lucky I am to have built up this little community of awesome people. Clients from my private sessions, weight training classes and stretch and mobility class all came together for some festive cheer. It was such a fantastic atmosphere ✨

When I set up my weight training classes a year ago, I had no idea how amazing it would be to watch new connections and relationships develop and grow. It's such a beautiful thing 💫

I'm extremely grateful to be supporting such an awesome community of people with their health and wellbeing 🙏🏼

Thanks to for being the perfect venue with your fancy, delicious food and friendly, accommodating staff 😋

With longer darker nights and winter drawing closer, this time of year can be an opportune moment in the seasons to review and refresh self-care habits… ✨ Why? Because as nature is already showing us, slowing down and allowing for rest, repair and recharge is so vital in order to prepare and sustain for the days ahead… ❄️

So what are you self-care habits (or not at all)…? What can you begin to introduce or improve upon to support you through the coming seasons…?
- and always start small to make this more achievable and realistic for you!

Thanks to Carly Wicks Fitness & Nutrition and Wellbeing with Julie for hosting another wonderful wellbeing workshop, and with the particular focus of sleep 💤 - something that I am sure many others will identify can be tricky sometimes when heads can become full and changes in daylight hours still testing us! The essential oils smelt delicious to create our own foot bath salts - which after trying out this evening are going to become part of my winter self-care sustenance 🙏 🫧
Here’s to healthy sleep habits including switching off, stretching out and celebrating sleep… 😴 🌙 ✨
