Its wonderful to be able share the results of a competition that one of our sustainable clients have been running throughout April!

In total, during the month over sixteen-thousand-watt hours have been generated by the modest gym membership.

Lowering the facility’s power consumption and helping to give back to the environment…And created one happy winner of a sustainable hamper.

'Our friendly coaches and qualified personal trainers, supported by valued apprentices:

It is important to us that we create a nurturing and supportive environment here at Combe Grove for our apprentices to take their first steps into their chosen career. All our apprentices work under the supervision of one of our mentors; these are our heads of department and a major part of their role is to pass on their knowledge to the next generation.

Apprentices also have the added support of other apprentices within their teams further along in their training journey. Each team will have a mix of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year apprentices all sharing knowledge and helping each other in their work and study.

It is our aim that apprentices achieve the highest level qualification they can during their time here. We ideally look for apprentices to join us at level 3 and then progress through to Level 6 if possible, however, if apprentices do need to undertake a level 2 qualification to gain access to a higher level qualification then that will also be considered'

We were delighted to equip Leeds City College] with their brand-new Eco-Powr™️ gym. Based at Park Lane Campus, this sustainable fitness space houses specially designed exercise machines which generate electricity for the college.

During their 24-hour charity gymathon last May, their combined efforts across our extensive range of Eco-powr™️ equipment - bikes, cross-trainers and rowing machines - produced 2,900 watt-hours 👏🏻
