Spring is finally here!🌻🌸

I haven't been very active lately, but the great news is I am now able to reopen my diary for new clients! 🎉🎉

Let me start by introducing myself.😊

I'm Jen, the owner and practitioner at the holistic therapist.
I am a qualified clinical reflexologist and reiki practitioner, providing sessions at my clinic room in Ashby de la Zouch or in the comfort of your own home, depending on your location.

I also work as the lead complementary therapist at Sue Young Cancer Support in Leicester, where I have an amazing team of volunteers who provide complementary therapies to those who are affected by cancer. 💜

On top of this, I am also a qualified teacher and run the Leicester and Nottingham venues for Jubilee College teaching the Level 5 Diploma in Practitioner Reflexology.👩‍🎓

I love the outdoors and spend most of my spare time hiking, running, reading, and spending time with my family.🌳

What is Reflexology??

Reflexology is a holistic non-invasive treatment based on the concept that the entire body is reflected in the hands and feet. The feet in particular have over 7,000 nerve endings in them, all associated with different body parts and systems.

Reflexology has been shown to improve mood and wellbeing, aid sleep and be deeply relaxing. 👣

Being in a state of deep relaxation triggers our parasympathetic nervous system, this is our "rest and digest" setting, the opposite to that stressed and anxious state of "fight or flight".

During this rest and digest period, our body is able to balance itself, allowing for recovery and recuperation to begin. The more time we spend in this state the healthier we are and more balanced we feel, allowing us to recover faster and deal with life stressors easier. 🧘‍♀️
