FOREHEAD LINES

These photos show the difference from anti-wrinkle treatments in just 2 weeks.

In the first photo, you can see that the patient has some horizontal fine lines that are starting to set into her forehead.

Left untreated, these become deeper and more permanent as we age.

In just 2 weeks, these lines have already started to fade.

With regular anti-wrinkle injections, we can expect to see the lines completely disappear.

✨The POWER of filler treatments✨

👄 This patient came to me with concerns about her marionette lines - the lines that form from the outer corners of the mouth to the chin as we age.

These lines get deeper as we age through natural loss of elasticity of the skin and decreased volume of the fat pads below the skin (along with lifestyle factors like sun damage, smoking, diet and exercise, skincare).

💉 We *can* treat them with small injections of filler directly in that area to increase the volume there. This is a great treatment option for many people, especially when combined with other treatments.

However, in this patient, we opted to use cheek fillers to lift the midface, giving more structure and effectively lifting the corners of the mouth.

The overall look is that her face has a more youthful heart shape that she would have had in her younger years. He cheeks appear lifted and the corners of her mouth are pulled upward slightly.

Filler does NOT have to be obvious.

This patient had 2ml of filler to lift her cheekbones and give subtle definition to her face shape. The result is a natural looking lift and contouring of her features that looks natural for her.

When we think of filler treatments, a lot of people get scared off because of what springs to mind - overfillled faces with far too much filler in. But as you can see, when the right amount is applied by a skilled practitioner, the result is a beautiful, subtle glow up.

☺️SMILE LINES☺️

This first-time patient wanted a subtle relaxation of the lines around her eyes. She wanted to keep her expressions natural, not frozen, so I injected a very small dose of Botulinum toxin into the expression muscles around the eyes.

The result is a softened, natural look.
