Matthews Neurological & Rehabilitation Unit Using an MDT approach; Matthews Unit has 'a specialist remit' providing therapeutic rehabilitation to brain injured and neurologically ill clients.

Matthews Unit has 'a specialist remit' coupled with an experienced and motiivated MDT, provides up to 38 placements with tailor-made rehabilitation packages for people with Neurological Diseases, Acquired Brain Injury or Terminal Illness. The expert Multi Disciplinary Team comprises a Nursing medical team, Neuropsychologist, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Speech and Language Therapist proving specialist support 24/7 .There is also a full time activities coordinator who works with the individual and the multidisciplinary team in planning, implementing and reviewing activity programmes informed by what is meaningful to the individual, and the therapeutic rational that underpins the activity.
