Dear all,

Today I would like to attract your attention over the so-called "sitting professions", which turn out to be quite problematic for the body when practiced for a long time. Sitting for a long time at a desk creates an unhealthy, hunched posture of the body, which escalates the problem over time. This "bended over" posture creates enormous tension on the back muscles, intervertebral discs, tendons and creates a vicious circle of problems. First, it starts with mild discomfort, slight tingling, etc. However, the pain appears, as a serious alarm signal from the body. Unfortunately, most people ignore it with the thought that, it will go away. But no, the pain is there and intensifies over the time, as well as the damage along the length of the spine. From there, the secondary symptoms, such as numbness in the limbs, burning and pain, intensify incredibly. Another problem is, the "sitting professions" simply forget to drink fluids, which escalates significantly the problem. Chronic dehydration leads to loss of elasticity of the intervertebral discs, rigid "hardened" muscles and tendons, which further worsens the situation. And when the PAIN permanently and acutely settles into their lives, only then the search for help begins.
Here you are some tips from me on how to protect yourself from these conditions:
1. Drink enough fluids, 30ml per kg. weight in 24 hours.
2. Get up and walk around every 1-1.5 hours.
3. Keep your back straight, at 90° to your knees, avoid slouching and resting your elbows on the desk.
4. If you have to stand for a long time, then request or buy a desk with a variable height, so you could periodically stand up and work upright.
5. Working with a mobile phone for a long time, this puts a lot of strain on your cervical and shoulder area and it is a matter of time for the pain to appear.
6. Take care of yourself, no one else will do it for you.
7. Practice some sport -swimming, calisthenics are excellent options to keep yourself active.

Здравейте приятели,

Днес бих искал да обърна внимание на така наречените "седящи професии", които се оказват доста проблемни за тялото , когато се практикуват от дълго време. Седейки продължително на работния стол създава една недобра, прегърбена поза на тялото, което ескалира проблема с времето. Тази пработна поза създава огромно напрежение върху мускулите на гърба, междупрешленните дискове, сухожилия и се създава един омагьосан кръг от проблеми. Първо се започва с лек дискомфорт, леко мравучкане и тн. После обаче се появява болката, като сериозен алармен сигнал от организма. За съжаление, повечето хора го иногрират с мисълта, че ще си отмине. Но не, болката е там и се усилва с времето, както и уврежданията по дължината на гръбнака. Оттам и вторичните симптоми, като изтръпване по крайниците , парене и болки се засилват неимоверно много. Друг проблем е, че "седящите професии" просто забравят да пият течности, което още повече ескалира проблема. Хроничното обезводняване води то загуба на еластичност на междупрешленните дискове, по ригидни "втвърдени" мускули и сухожилия, което допълнително влошава положението. И когато БОЛКАТА трайно и остро се настани в живота им, то едва тогава започва търсенето на помощ.
Ето няколко съвета от мен как да се предпазите от тези състояния:
1. Пийте достатъчно течности, 30мл на кг. тегло за 24 часа.
2. Ставайте и се разхождайте на всеки 1-1,5 часа.
3. Дръжте гърба си изправен, на 90°спрямо коленете си, избягвайте да се прегърбвате и да опирате лактите си на бюрото.
4. Ако ви се налага да стоите продължително, то изискайте или си купете бюро с променяща се височина, за да можете периодично да ставате и работите прави.
5. Дълго време работа с мобилен телефон, това страшно много натоварва шийно -раменния ви дял и е въпрос на време болката да се появи.
6. Грижете се за себе си, никой друг няма да го направи за вас.
7. Спортувайте някакъв спорт, плуване, калестеник са отлично варианти да се поддържате жизнени.

Every time you tilt your head to look at your phone, your body adjusts — and not in a good way.

🔻 Here’s what happens:

Your head leans forward, putting strain on your neck (up to 27 kg of pressure!).

Shoulders round forward, tightening chest muscles.

Breathing becomes shallow as your chest collapses.

Over the time, this posture leads to fatigue, tension, and even mood dips.

✅ The fix is simple — but powerful:

✅Lift your phone to eye level.

✅Roll your shoulders back.

✅Imagine a string pulling your head gently upward.
