Meet Cathy, Kingsley Home Care East Norfolk and Suffolk, Lowestoft 💜

Cathy has been part of the Kingsley Home Care team since October 2024. Her commitment to care is deeply personal. After spending many years caring for her first husband through terminal cancer, Cathy later supported her current husband, Chris, following a diagnosis of chronic kidney disease. Despite a double kidney transplant in 2025, Chris remains very unwell.

To raise awareness and funds for Kidney Research UK, Cathy is taking on a 30 mile walk on Thursday 2 July 2026. She will walk from Caister on Sea to Ness Point in Lowestoft and back again in one day, and is currently training for the challenge.

Cathy wants to help more people understand the reality of kidney disease, which affects 1 in 10 people, and hopes to make a real difference through fundraising. Any support for this very worthy cause would be highly appreciated.
