Luton and Dunstable Prostate Support Group will be talking about what you need to know around prostate health and erectile dysfunction, as well as other presenters and organisations.

A great prostate awareness event yesterday with the Luton, Dunstable & Surrounding Kenyan Community. Loads of questions and very open conversation - no holes barred. They provided great food too. Thanks Sally and Steve for the invitation.

Also good to meet some members of the community who traveled up from Slough, which will hopefully result in a similar event there soon.

I did an awareness talk at a Hindu temple in Luton today to 50-60 members. This was after they gave me lunch, and a tour/explanation of the temple.

Afterwards, I did a support group for those with prostate cancer.

This was a good format, which I shall try and repeat as we continue raising awareness in the communities in Luton. This event was the first time for using our new Gujarati leaflet.

We would love to have more funding to reprint our leaflet for patients and to have our awareness leaflet printed. If you are able to support us in doing this, that would be fantastic - please get in touch: support@ldpsg.org.uk.

We are a small and very frugal organisation, and have no paid staff or contractors. We don't have any regular funding sources. Our costs are primarily our domain name, email, phone line, and printing costs. Tackle kindly gave us a grant to have a professional leaflet for patients designed with an initial print run in May 2022, and both Prostate Cancer UK and Tackle have provided us with a Zoom licence at different times.

Anything you can contribute goes directly to helping to support more men who have been diagnosed, and raising awareness of prostate cancer and what men need to do to get checked - early diagnosis saves lives.
