It’s been another fantastic week across our Hamberley homes, filled with fresh air, fun activities, special visitors, and plenty of smiles!

☀️ Charrington Manor Care Home- Sunshine at last! Gentle garden walks lifted everyone’s spirits.

🌷 Cambridge Grove Care Home - Spring is here! Residents are loving the garden, with daffodils and tulips now peeking through.

🧀🍷 Cofton Park Manor Care Home - A relaxing Cheese & Wine afternoon with tasty treats and great conversation.

🐴 Elstow Manor Care Home - Special visitors Woody and Duke beautiful Shire horses, brought smiles all around!

🥌 Lovell Place Care Home - Friendly curling challenge with our sister home Meryton Place Care Home - Team Lovell won, but fun was the real winner!

🐎 Nesbit House Care Home - Shetland ponies Jack and Ralph visited for Chinese New Year celebrations.

🏆 Newton House Care Home - Inspired by the Winter Olympics, residents enjoyed curling at Greenacres Curling Club and shared memories.

🌮🎈 Upton Manor Care Home - Fiesta week with Mexican culture chats and a magical balloon visit from Mr Pop!

🌿🛍️ Abbots Wood Manor Care Home - Residents enjoyed a lovely trip to Hillier Garden Centre for a little retail therapy, followed by a warm drink and sweet treat together. ☕🍰

We’re proud to spotlight Val Foley, who has been part of the Hamberley family for nearly five years. After experiencing the journey of moving a loved one into care herself, Val chose to follow her passion and join the care sector. That personal experience drives her commitment to supporting families as they explore their options, ensuring everyone who walks through our doors is treated with dignity, kindness and respect.

🌴🍹 A Taste of the Bahamas at Montague House Care Home 🍹🌴

January blues were well and truly swept away at Montague House Care Home in Brampton, as residents enjoyed a surprise tropical escape - without leaving their armchairs.

Our cinema was transformed into a beach paradise, complete with palm trees, sun hats and colourful glasses, while the sounds of the Bahamas filled the room.

Resident Glenda Read (90) was all smiles as she enjoyed a refreshing cocktail and soaked up the sunny atmosphere ☀️

We’re so grateful to Carol J, one of our respite residents, for sharing her experience of Lovell Place. 💛

Both Carol and her husband came to us for a short stay while she needed some extra support. From the moment they arrived, they found our facilities and staff welcoming, reassuring, and attentive - helping put them both at ease. Carol even described the experience as “like a 5-star hotel,” and praised the care and attention they received from our team at Lovell Place.

On Saturday, our homes were filled with flowers, music, sweet treats and plenty of smiles as residents came together to celebrate Valentine’s Day. From beautifully decorated spaces and special afternoon teas to heartfelt conversations and shared memories, it was a truly special occasion across our homes.

Valentine’s at Hamberley is about more than romance - it’s about friendship, companionship and celebrating the connections that make life so meaningful 💕

🎉 Celebrating 3 Years of Alston House Care Home 🎉

This weekend marks a special milestone - Alston House Care Home in Eastleigh, Southampton is three years old!

Since opening, our home has been filled with laughter, friendship, and special moments shared between residents, families, and our fantastic team. 💙

We’re so proud of everything we’ve accomplished and excited to continue making Alston House a welcoming, happy place for all who call it home.
