What a wonderful week it’s been across our homes, with residents truly making the most of the sunshine, filling their days with fun, laughter, and fresh air! 🌸

🌼 At Abbots Wood Manor, residents soaked up the warm weather in the beautiful gardens
🥚 Elstow Manor welcomed family and friends for a joyful Easter egg hunt across the grounds
👒 Charrington Manor hosted a fabulous Ladies Day - no horses, no racing . . . just plenty of style and stunning hats!
🐾 Chawley Grove residents enjoyed the company a very special new member of the wellbeing team - Ruby the dog - who brought smiles all around!
🌿 At Cofton Park Manor, Bob and the Cofton Potters have been hard at work keeping the gardens looking their best
🎨 Newton House residents embraced their creativity in art class - featuring Neil’s brilliant portrait of fellow resident Liz
🏇 The ladies of Meryton Place enjoyed an exciting day out at Chepstow Races
🎶 Cambridge Grove was alive with the sound of music, as residents enjoyed live performances and dancing
📸 Dorking Manor residents captured the beauty of their surroundings during a fun photography session
🌱 Hindhead Place residents got their hands dirty with some relaxing gardening time

We’re incredibly proud to see Montague House Care Home featured in the Peterborough Telegraph , highlighting the opening of our newly refurbished dementia community. 💙

The article shares how our thoughtfully redesigned space has created a more supportive and engaging environment for residents living with dementia, with a focus on comfort, independence and wellbeing.

We were honoured to have Jane Walton officially open the new community, in memory of her late husband Don, who was cared for at Montague House, a truly meaningful moment for everyone involved.

🎉 100 Years Young at Chawley Grove Care Home 🥂🍫

We’re delighted to share that Oxford Mail has featured one of our very special residents, Walter, who recently celebrated his 100th birthday in style!

Walter, who lives at Chawley Grove Care Home, marked his milestone birthday surrounded by family and friends with a wonderful afternoon tea organised by our team, complete with champagne, birthday cake and, of course, plenty of sweet treats. 🎂✨

When asked the secret to his long life, Walter credits a regular “tot of whisky” and his love of chocolate, especially white chocolate buttons! 🥃🍬 We think that’s advice we can all smile about.

It was an absolute privilege to celebrate such an incredible milestone with Walter and his loved ones. Reaching 100 years is truly remarkable, and we’re so proud to have been part of such a special day.

Hamberley Weekly Round-Up!

As spring continues to bloom, it’s been another joyful and activity-filled week across our communities. Here’s a look at what some of our homes has been up to… 🌷✨

🥚 Alston House welcomed a lovely visit from Crescent Pre-School, where children proudly showcased their beautiful Easter bonnets.

🐥 Lovell Place had a delightful time welcoming ducklings, with plenty of cuddles and fluffy tickles all around.

🐴 Nesbit House residents enjoyed meeting Jack and Ralph, two adorable Shetland ponies, as part of their Country Western Week.

🎶 Dorking Manor residents were all shook up as they welcomed the King of Rock and Roll for a fantastic Elvis-themed afternoon.

🎉 Charrington Manor celebrated several birthdays this week – here’s a glimpse of just one of the three special occasions.

🌿 Edwalton Manor ladies enjoyed a wonderful day out at Holmes Pier Point, making the most of the fresh air and scenery.

💃 Templeton Place’s dancing queens had a fabulous time at an ABBA tribute act, full of music, sparkle and fun.

🍰 Elstow Manor warmly welcomed guests for their ‘Taste of Elstow’ event with some delicious treats.

⚽ Newton House hosted their bi-weekly Fit-Baw session – and here is our proud Player of the Match!

🐥Richmond Manor welcomed a very special visitor, Elsie, great-granddaughter of one of our residents, who enjoyed cuddles with our resident chicks.

We’re delighted to share the launch of the new Rushcliffe Dementia Hub - now open at Edwalton Manor Care Home.

The Rushcliffe Dementia Hub has officially opened at Edwalton Manor on Landmere Lane, creating a much-needed lifeline for families affected by dementia across the local community. The hub places our home at the heart of a growing support network, offering guidance, information and connection for those living with dementia and the people who care for them.

At Edwalton Manor Care Home, we are passionate about supporting not only our residents, but the wider Rushcliffe community too. This hub is a safe, welcoming space where families can access advice, share experiences and find reassurance that they are not alone.
