Luca & Valentina are in training in support of our new venture to provide donkey assisted therapy.

So today at Love donkey therapy we received some devastating 😔 news. One of our lovely sponsors and great friend Linda sadly passed following her heroic battle with the dreadful disease that is cancer.
Lin was truly inspirational- one of the kindest, caring and strongest of women you could ever have the privilege of calling a friend. She dedicated herself to her family and to rescuing animals. You will be sorely missed… but we know that all the animals will be waiting for you at rainbow 🌈 bridge xx 💔

The donkeys 🫏 Luca & Valentina had a lovely morning with their two new friends. Lots of grooming was to be had… a maybe a ginger biscuit 🍪 too.

Today, at Love donkey therapy, we set up our little refreshment’s area. Thanks 🙏 to the kind donation from Sadie Evans we can now provide coffee. What a nice way to relax with the donkeys 🫏 watching 👀 over.

Well despite our setbacks, this week has been very busy at Love donkey therapy.
Back in December we lost a lot of our forage - the storms battered our tarps and the prolonged rain meant that our hay cut from our fields could no longer be used for the donkeys 😔
And by the end of last week we had run out.
Many thanks to our trusted suppliers at Ross Hay & Haylage at Overross Liveryry we now have a fabulous supply of low sugar, high fibre hay for Luca & Valentina to enjoy. 👏👏🫏🫏🥳

Today Luca and Valentina got to see their favourite Tim Kedward Farriery.
It’s amazing how well they’ve come on… when they first arrived they needed to be sedated… now they’ll happily munch on their haynet whilst having a trim.
Now munching away in the sun with beautifully trimmed feet.
