I as an ex-English teacher, I found this article interesting. One of the problems with the word’ neurodivergent’ is that it doesn’t exactly trip off the tongue easily. What do you think?

Disability support in the workplace

I’m excited to share that alongside my tutoring work, I’ve recently starting working with clients via Access to Work to provide job coaching/mentoring for adults with a range of disabilities, chronic and mental health conditions, and neurodivergent profiles — including dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism, and ADHD.

This fully funded support helps people with disabilities to develop practical strategies for:

Managing the transition into a new role or job
Communicating their needs and self-advocacy
Organisation and time management
Communication and confidence
Managing challenges at work
Building independence and resilience
Literacy support
