Residents had a fun craft session creating colourful wands with beads and charms ✨🌸 Every wand is unique, ready to brighten a vase or the garden — and everyone had a smile while making them!

Residents recently enjoyed a creative afternoon painting and decorating tote bags 🎨👜

Butterflies, birds, and flowers came to life in bright colours, while everyone chatted and laughed together. Residents are looking forward to showing off their unique creations on their next shopping trip!

We recently enjoyed a lovely morning coffee, made even better by a visit from Ruby 🐾

After a few weeks away, it was great to welcome PAT dog Ruby back. Ruby showed off her tricks, enjoyed plenty of attention, and spent some quiet time with residents.

A beautifully scented afternoon at Court Lodge 🌸💜

Residents recently spent a relaxing afternoon creating scented bags filled with rose petals, lavender, and essential oils. And there was lots of laughter along the way — especially while trying to capture the perfect petal-blowing photo with Gwyneth! A truly feel-good afternoon enjoyed by all.

We were proud to recently present a cheque to The Honeypot Children's Charity, our 2025 Charity of the Year, following a year of fundraising at Court Lodge.

Thanks to the enthusiasm of our residents, the support of families and friends, and the dedication of our team, we raised an incredible amount... and had a lot of fun along the way!

Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising activities and helped make this possible.

Residents recently visited Otter Nurseries in Everton, enjoying hot drinks and mince pies before exploring the Christmas decorations and twinkling lights.

Pat, Margaret, and Joan were all smiles as they took in the festive displays 🎄⛄️

We were delighted to welcome vocalist Talisa recently, who filled our home with Christmas classics. Residents tapped their toes, clapped along, and joined in the singing, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere.

The highlight? Margaret twirling around the room with Companionship Team Leader Julia, her smile showing exactly how much fun everyone was having.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful afternoon celebrating Colten Care’s win at the 2025 National Care Awards, where we were named Care Home Group (Medium Size) of the Year 🏆

Festivities included a delicious homemade cake, lovingly prepared by our chef, and a relaxed soiree. It was a joyous moment to reflect on the dedication, care, and warmth that our teams bring to every day, and to share in the excitement of this national recognition.
