It was such a pleasure to welcome Fay from our Lymington sister home, Court Lodge Care Home, for a special afternoon visit with her sister and our very own resident, Louisa 💙

Fay visited our sister home Belmore Lodge Care Home to spend time with her sister Louisa, who is a resident there, enjoying lunch followed by ice cream. It was a simple but meaningful way to share time with family, and we're so grateful to the Belmore team for making us all so welcome 😊

Our first Garden Club of spring was a joy! 🌱 Residents planted bulbs and sunflower seeds with our new gardener, Amanda, getting stuck in and enjoying every moment.

A little soil around the Botanical Lounge didn’t dampen the fun — soon, these blooms will brighten the garden and our dining tables 🌸 A perfect way to start the week!

Spring blooms and creativity 🌷

Residents recently spent a peaceful morning arranging tulips and other flowers, making beautiful displays for their rooms. Joyce especially enjoyed getting back to a hobby she loved in her local church. What a calm, relaxing to start the day!

Belmore Lodge resident Paul recently marked his 103rd birthday with a return to the Royal Lymington Yacht Club - a place closely tied to his lifelong love of sailing.

The visit was thoughtfully arranged by the team following earlier conversations about Paul’s sailing days, including his former membership of the club and voyages around Europe, Cornwall, and the Isles of Scilly. Accompanied by Companionship Team Leader Sharon, Home Manager Janie, and fellow sailing enthusiast and resident Louisa, Paul received a warm welcome on arrival.

Over fish and chips and a celebratory glass of wine, Paul and Louisa shared memories of maritime life, before the occasion was marked with a nautical-themed cake prepared by the home’s chef.

We were proud to recently present a cheque to Lymington Cat and Kitten Rescue, our 2025 Charity of the Year, following a year of fundraising at Belmore Lodge.

We welcomed a very special visitor for the occasion🐾 a little kitten, named Bella in honour of the home. We weren't allowed to fall in love, though, as Bella was off to her new home over the weekend ❤️

Thanks to the enthusiasm of our residents, the support of families and friends, and the dedication of our team, we raised an incredible amount... and had a lot of fun along the way!

Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising activities and helped make this possible.
