Today I received an emergency call from the local authorities.
A family was in need of Pearls of Cheshire Ethnic foodbank.

We took this family on exceptional grounds.
Urgent referral and meeting arranged.

I left everything I was doing/not doing to meet with this family.

I'm so pleased I did.
Spent two hours with the young lady and her children.
Went through all their practical needs.
Provided all their needs regards to what Pearls of Cheshire can provide.
In the middle of talking to the family we discovered that much more was needed.

I just want to take the opportunity to thank all those who have been donating to Pearls Cheshire Pearls of Cheshire Ethnic foodbank. You have met a great need of which a lot of establishments were turning a blind eye on, despite our desperate cry.

We had been speaking to local authorities and Cheshire East food partnership prior to that but no one took us seriously.
sponsoring Pearls of Cheshire Ethnic foodbank.

Thank you Silklife Foodbank Foodbank and Silklife Church for listening to our cry and allowing us to express the need for our ethnic foodbank.
We could not have done it much earlier than we have without you.

We continue to meet the needs of the disregarded/ignored.

If you want to donate to our food bank, please follow Silklife Foodbank Macclesfield and you will find Pearls of Cheshire Ethnic foodbank under the same umbrella with a different QR code
