Aren’t we so busy now days? Our mind not often got time for a real break. Every second we want to occupy ourselves with distraction.
Not long ago while we were waiting in a queue or for the lights to turn green, we only had our surroundings to observe or our own thoughts to contemplate.
There was naturally, without a big effort, more soul food and rest for our busy mind and lives. There was less temptation to fill every spare moment with something productive.
If you are rushing and busy person you need to plan those ”mind breaks“ and be intentional about it and plan time for self care.

You are enough. You always have been. You always will be.

The belief that you are not enough might manifest in unkind behaviour toward people you are actually love including yourself. Eating too much, spending beyond your means are just some examples.
Every human's greatest fear is that they are not enough and as a result that they won’t be loved. We were born this way, without love a human baby dies, we need people around us to look after us from the first day of our life. As adults, love is not essential to our survival but if we live as it is we will do everything we can to avoid being rejected.

Having self-awareness is a valuable skill that can lead to personal growth and development. It involves understanding one's own personality, behaviour, habits, emotional responses, and motivations.
This 6 weeks (2,5hr each session) workshop is designed to help you get back in touch with your Original Spiritual Self (more commonly known as The Higher Awareness or in some teachings, the Higher Self) in order for you to unfold your True Nature which is Joy, Peace, Love and Fulfilment.

It's possible that the root cause of anxiety lies in our past, perhaps stemming from past traumas or separation from parents during childhood. Addressing this root cause and identifying where it manifests in the body is essential for overcoming anxiety. The connection between mind and body plays a critical role in the healing process.

One effective exercise for combatting anxiety and stress is known as the Physiological Sigh.
It's particularly helpful during those tense moments when our minds feel out of control. Instead of relying on our thoughts to soothe us, this exercise focuses on a specific breathing pattern to slow down our heart rate and calm our fight or flight response. By taking a mechanical approach, we can regain a sense of control and ease our anxiety.

I am very excited to share with you some highlights of the workshop I will be delivering soon - "Introduction to Self-Awareness".
The purpose of the workshop is to help us get back
in touch with our Original Spiritual Self (more commonly known as The Higher Awareness or in some teachings, the Higher Self) in order for us to unfold our True Nature which is Joy, Peace, Love and Fulfilment.

If you would like to find out more about meditation, how our mind works, Universal laws (for example the law of attraction, reflection), and how to overcome beliefs that rule our life this could be a workshop for you!

Did you know that one of the founders of CBT Albert Ellis (CBT Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, the leading evidence- based form of modern psychotherapy) was heavily influenced by “The Meditations” by Marcus Aurelius and Stoicism?
Stoicism and CBT share the same premise, known as a cognitive model of emotion, which holds that our emotions are largely influenced by underlying beliefs.
In metaphysical counselling sessions we are focusing on beliefs, understanding them and trying to work with them not against them. By using tools and techniques we are taking layers of false beliefs that stoping us to do great things in our live.

I am just reading “Mediations” by Marcus Aurelius (father of Stoic truths, lived in 121 -180 AD) and I am astonished how true his words are nowadays, bit of reflection before Monday.

At dawn, when you have trouble getting out of the bed, tell yourself “I have to go to work – I am a human being. What do I have to complain of, if I'm going to do what I was born for - the things I was brought into the world to do? Or is this what I was created for? To huddle under the blankets and stay warm?

But it's nicer in here…

So you were born to feel nice? Instead of doing things, experiencing them?
Don't you see the plants, the birds, the ants, the spiders and bees going about their individual tasks, putting the world in order as best they can? And you are not willing to do your job as a human being? Why aren't you running to do what your nature demands?

But we have to sleep sometimes...

Agreed, but nature set a limit on that - as it did on eating and drinking and you are over the limit. You’ve had more than enough of that. But not of working you are still below your quota.

We tend to be too strict, too harsh to ourselves. We wouldn’t say others what we sometimes says to ourselves. Only speak of those things you want to realised in your life and do all those small changes in your own pace. We are all different and life is not a race.

Sleep is the fundament of our health and wellbeing. If you struggle with a good night sleep please reflect on the below sleep tips to establish a healthy sleeping habits.
Measuring your sleep patters and stages is a good exercise and place to start “If you can't measure it, you can't manage it".

Mathew Walker is the world known sleep guru, I do highly recommend his books and podcast. https://www.sleepdiplomat.com/podcast Knowing the foundations of the sleeps will help you to change your habits and understand sleep phases.

The light that comes from computer and mobile phone screens has a real effect on the human circadian system, especially at night. Computer screens, tablets and mobile phones emit full spectrum light around the clock, just like the sun. Exposure to blue light at the wrong time of day can keep you awake later and interfere with the quality of your sleep.

Ikigai - The Japanese way of living a happy and long life.
Less stress, better health and greater happiness it’s all about the Japanese life philosophy ikigai.
It’s the reason to get up in the morning, finding your life purpose.
It’s the pleasure and meanings of life. It’s about discovering, defining and appreciating those of life pleasures that have a meaning for you.
This philosophy can be applied to small everyday things as well as to big goals and achievements.
To find your ikigai you can ask yourself:
- what are your most sentimental values?
- what are the small things that give you a pleasure?
Those are good places to start when it comes to finding your own ikigai as a way to happier, more fulfilled life.

Great documentary movie about relationship with some therapy and teachings directed by Jonah Hill.
The tools he explains in the movie: “The Shadow,” “Life Force” ; "The Maze"; "Radical acceptance" and “The Grateful Flow”, are actually incredibly simple. They’re classic psychotherapy concepts, with an emphasis on chiselling away to the root of our issues rather than diagnosing from the outside in. “Life Force”, for example, asks patients to work on the core tenants of physical health, our relationship with ourselves and our relationship with others, with the theory that once those houses are in order, wading through the muddy waters of what else is bothering us becomes far easier. Worth watching if you are interesting in self-awareness and self-help.
