Nous avons passe une excellente heure avec Liz ce matin et nous nous sentons desormais confiants, nous pourrions faire nos courses dans un marche Francais. Nous saurions commander du pain a la boulangerie, choisir des fleurs chez le fleuriste et, apres une matinee bien remplie….. savourer une boisson rafraichissant au cafe ☕️

A fun hour with the Macc lads; as always things got very competitive however despite one team having both Rory Delap with the winning throw and Cinderella with her silver slippers, they still managed to loose 10-7 to the opposing team.

Hola from Mexico 🇲🇽
Another fun-filled day, we had planned to visit Havana and Cuba however we couldn’t prize ourselves away from the Taco Bar 🌮
We’ve spent the day listening to music and dancing, we also enjoyed some games with the local staff who always seem to dress for the occasion!
Food was fabulous, we have enjoyed chilli con carne and flan de leche for lunch and fajitas and salad for tea followed by Churros and chocolate.
We have, of course, sampled some of the local tipples such as tequila and mojitos ‘on the rocks’
Another fabulous day had by all 🌵

A couple of our lovely ladies were invited over to our sister home ‘Genesis’ today for afternoon tea.
A wonderful few hours were spent creating new friendships over finger sandwiches, cakes, tea/coffee and even a complimentary glass of Prosecco or Bucks Fizz 🥂

We thought we’d get out and enjoy the sunshine ☀️ over at Manchester’s Aviation Viewing Park today.
Everyone had the best time spotting some planes including the ever popular Emirates.
Great day had by us all and the ice creams after lunch were a welcome refreshment!

Some of us have had a lovely few hours on the Mary Sunley barge boat today. We managed to dodge the rain and thoroughly enjoyed fish and chips from the local Marple chippy, highly recommended!
We enjoyed a few games of ‘I-Spy’ and a good old sing song as we journeyed back.
All in all another successful, annual, boat trip!
Roll on next year 🪿🌻⚓️

This month we are looking forward to our annual boat trip, a trip to Manchester Airport, our themed day which will see us taking a trip to Mexico, a trip to our sister home Genesis for afternoon tea 🍰 and for one day only we’re bringing back Elvis 🕺…
