Approaching the big 4-0 this year has shifted everything—my body, my priorities, my purpose.

Over the past few years I have navigated motherhood, hormonal imbalances, chronic migraines, and a lingering sports injury.

Pilates combined with yoga, breathwork, and meditation form the core of my healing journey—and my mission to help other mamas reclaim their strength! 💪🏻

Becoming a mum made it my mission to support mothers in rebuilding their bodies gently yet effectively. Postpartum Pilates has done wonders for me by restoring core strength, pelvic floor function, posture, and easing physical strain from lifting, feeding, and bending day-to-day.

Pilates isn’t just fitness. It’s precision, alignment, and breath. It’s grounded movement that calms the nervous system and offers space to heal—especially after injury or childbirth.

Integrating yoga and meditation has helped shorten my migraine duration and reduced intensity, thanks to mindfulness-based stress reduction. Breathwork supports the parasympathetic system, which optimises hormone balance, soothes stress, and anchors me in the present.

Fridays Mama & Baby Pilates – Reconnect, Rebuild and Bond

Starting Friday 6th June with me Bollington Yoga - 11:30am | 1-hour class | £12 per session mum and baby.

Dear Mama,

Ready to gently reconnect with your body, bond with your baby, and feel part of a supportive community of other mums?

Join me for Mama & Baby Pilates—a nurturing, baby-friendly class designed to support your postnatal recovery while giving your baby a calm and connected experience too.

In each class, we’ll focus on:

• Strengthening your core and pelvic floor
• Improving posture and easing tension (especially in your neck, back, and shoulders)
• Breathing and relaxation to help reduce stress
• Bonding with your baby through movement and presence

Your baby benefits too!
These sessions include gentle sensory interaction, tummy time opportunities, and the comfort of being close to you throughout.

When can you start?
You’re welcome from 6 weeks post vaginal birth or 10–12 weeks after a C-section, with your GP’s approval.

Cost: £12 per class
Start date: Friday 6th June at 11:30am
Where: Bollington Yoga, 104 Palmerston St, Bollington, Macclesfield SK10 5PW

Each class runs for 1 hour in a relaxed, welcoming space—where crying, feeding, and cuddles are all part of the flow.

After giving birth to my son in 2022, I started Pilates for recovery to enable me to get back to my weightlifting and endurance training. However, pilates quickly became more than just a recovery tool—it enhanced my entire athletic performance.

Pilates helped me rebuild my core strength, improve my flexibility, and increase stability - all of which have made a noticeable difference in my weightlifting and endurance training. It’s also taught me better body awareness and control, which has helped prevent injuries and improve my overall movement efficiency.
