She'll always be Mum & Nonna to us, but now she’ll also been known as Maria Bailey Holistic Therapy ❨

I feel so blessed to collaborate with my wonderful mum! She's embarked on a new journey as a full-time holistic therapist ; leaving behind her NHS role as a Senior Occupational Therapist 🩵

With 25+ years of experience in massage and occupational therapy, and a background in mental health care, Maria's approach is centered around holistic well-being, ensuring clients leave feeling physically and mentally relaxed and refreshed ✨

When she's not working, you'll find Maria with her grandchildren, loved ones, friends, or fitting in an aqua class 🤣. She's always been passionate about helping others, and I know she'll be an asset to our business 🫶🏽

…. & that’s a wrap for Mum & Baby Pilates for 2025!

I cannot believe another year has passed, ending it with my new baby Luca. Some familiar and some new faces have joined and it’s been such a pleasure teaching every single one of you and of course the coffee and chats after 👀

Thank you for all your support, especially when I was heavily pregnant and just about able to get up from the mat.

And to my Mumma’s returning to work, it’s genially been an honour to teach you and watch you all flourish as mothers!

To everyone else, see you in the new year for some exciting new ideas and the usual coffee and chat after.

First run since Luca without stopping 😭 so proud of myself lol! It was only 4k but round mote park 🗻 I don’t think my face could have been redder 🥲

I’ve been focusing on walks, pelvic floor exercises, and Pilates, and I felt ready to take on running again.

No idea why, but I’m ‘loving’ it postpartum 🤣. Shoutout to my coach for motivating me on a Saturday morning!

It’s so hard as a mum to carve out time for ourselves, but I find exercise makes me have more patience and improves my mood when I’m home 🩵

Embracing Motherhood 🫶🏽

I’m still in awe of being a mum of two! Life has been chaotic, and self-care has taken a backseat. But last night, I carved out 20 minutes at the gym for some me-time.

A 5-minute bike ride and gentle exercises like breathing, pelvic floor, and stretching worked wonders. Ending with a 5-minute sauna was bliss! 🥰

You don’t need a gym to do these exercises. Start with small, post-partum safe movements, even in the first few weeks.

Try these:
• Cat-cows
• Child’s pose
• All fours tummy tuck
• Seated breathing
• Seated pelvic floor contractions
• Standing belly breathing
• Standing belly breathing with pelvic floor contractions

My next post will demonstrate these exercises. Remember to consult your healthcare provider and book your Mummy MOT! 🏹🫶🏽

Hello everyone, sorry for the silence on here recently but we thrilled to announce the arrival of our baby boy, Luca! Born on September 7th, 2025, 8 days past his due date, but every minute was worth the wait 🫶🏽

I can’t believe he’s 4 weeks already, it's hard to imagine life without him. His big brothers, Leo and Arthur, are smitten with their new sibling 🩵

My birth experience was everything I'd hoped for - a magical water birth. A huge thank you to the fantastic midwives at .birth.centre , and James for helping me stay calm and focused during the birth 🩵

To my wonderful clients, thank you for your thoughtful gifts and congratulations. We're feeling very blessed.
