We’re gearing up for our annual Bulbs in Quirky Containers Enterprise Project again! Any quirky containers very welcome. Any teapots without lids, cups, mugs, glasses, vases, cake tins, soup turrets, biscuit barrels, cookware…we’d love them. ❤️🌱Spring flowering bulbs are a great way to get some colour in the house without using imported cut flowers. We’ll be planting them at the beginning of January ready for sale in early February. All proceeds will go into the WELLIES Project.

We would like to wish everyone who has supported our WELLIES community enterprise activities this year a very happy Christmas and say a huge thank you from the WELLIES team and participants. We raised just under £7000 which will be ploughed directly back into the project.
Many of our learners have been involved in this and developed skills for enterprise and employment with many of them progressing onto volunteering. So whether you’ve been on a workshop, bought door swags, candle arrangements, made paper angels, staffed a stall, organised an event for us, commissioned us to create floral installations, cut foliage for us or been part of the team creating, thank you. Floristry and Plant Science course today. Environmentally friendly gift wrapping. Christmas candle arrangements and a lovely lunch of turkey and stuffing baguettes, pigs in blankets toad in the hole and gravy and hedgerow jelly dipping pots. #

Our last days for collecting orders are this Thursday 11th Dec and next Monday 15th Dec. We have three large hat boxes @ £25, two zinc trough candle arrangements @ £15, three medium hatboxes £20, 3 paper angels @ £2, two single candle arrangements @ £10, 4 simple foliage wreaths suitable for graves @ £15 , a red velvet door wreath with 2 wooden hearts @ £35 and a little dog warming his bottom on some moss. Thanks so much to everyone for your support. All money raised is ploughed back into The WELLIES Project.

A creative evening with wreath making with friends. A great start to the festive season. This year we’ve done lots of these sessions. Baileys hot chocolate and warm mince pies with clotted cream help it along! Looking forward to seeing what this weeks workshops bring! All proceeds are ploughed back into the WELLIES Project.
