Colours on Tarot cards are important, yet often overlooked as we scour the symbols and imagery for meaning.

Simply pausing to absorb how the colours make you feel is a wonderful way to somatically experience the cards and their energy.

I was really excited by the colouring of these roses in my local supermarket, and noticed the similarity to my birth card, The Emperor.

The colours are an injection of the vitality, deep confidence, and passionate dedication that are also facets of The Emperor.

Next time you look at a Tarot card, notice how the colours alone make you feel ❤️🧡

Trees on the hills at twilight...

What with work and weather, I haven't had much tree time, lately - but I appreciate it all the more when I do get to be alone with my camera.

I've decided to pause tarot readings, for now.

Hand readings can still be booked on Thursdays and Fridays and I hope to soon get back into the rhythm of sharing palmistry insights and tarot reflections on here.

Long time no post!
I'm still adjusting to life as a visiting carer.
Though the work is part-time, I lack time to tend my hand reading and tarot on my days off - what with being a lone parent and general life stuff that needs doing!
Nor have I got out much with my beloved camera of late, but a misty day on the hills beckoned, recently.
I'm slightly obsessed with trees in the fog!

Hand and tarot readings can be booked on Thursdays and Fridays and some weekends.

My new job has taken most of my energy this week, but I greatly enjoyed time with a tarot client on Thursday and, today, with a hand reading client.

Appointments are now available on Thursdays and Fridays, and alternate weekends.

A little bit about me!

I'm 55 years old, and I began reading tarot six years ago, and hands two years ago.

I'm also a linguist and, for three decades, was a translator from Dutch, German, and French.

This week, I started a new part-time role as a visiting carer for a homecare agency. Despite the exhaustion, overwhelm and, at times, anxiety of learning a demanding new role, I already love the work, and the clients.

I'm a single mum to a 16-year-old young man and personal servant to an elderly rescue Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

Besides my son, my dog, Tarot and palmistry, my greatest passions in life are writing and photography. Hanging out among trees with my camera brings me deep joy.

I am an INFJ: a very sociable introvert who is often misdiagnosed as an extrovert 😂

I'm endlessly curious about all manner of things, and mystical in the sense that I see magic everywhere, and believe consciousness permeates everything.

Alas, I possess no otherworldly superpowers, but what I hope I do have, and what I always aspire to develop further, is the very human power of presence.

My work is motivated by the desire to support others in deepening their love for, and understanding of, themselves.
