Anthea has only been with me for 6 weeks and she’s already feeling stronger, more confident and finally seeing the results she’s been chasing for years.
Before working with me, she was at the gym all the time, smashing classes, eating what she thought was healthy and doing the same as her daughter but nothing was shifting. Her daughter’s body was changing, hers wasn’t. She felt frustrated, demotivated and stuck, unsure what she was doing wrong.
She’d been coming to my classes for ages and said she knew how much effort, attention to detail (and personality!) I put in, so she reached out.
We stripped everything back and focused on what actually works for women over 40.
She was doing too much cardio, not enough strength. We added proper resistance training, made her workouts more efficient, and tweaked her nutrition - nothing extreme, just smarter. She still eats with her family, but now knows how to balance her meals. I’ll never forget her saying she was having homemade mac & cheese and me asking, “Lovely… but where’s the protein?” She still hears that voice in her head now!
Fast forward 6 weeks and she’s more confident in the gym, stronger, lifting with great form and doing even better in her classes (especially those biceps!). Her mindset’s stronger too and she knows it’s not about perfection, it’s about consistency.
And now, her daughter’s joined coaching too after seeing how well her mum’s doing. Different goals, same approach - sustainable, realistic and built on education and confidence.
