A year ago, I decided to start my fitness journey. 💪

It hasn’t always been easy — there have been ups, downs, and days where motivation was hard to find. But through it all, I’ve kept going, and that’s something I’m proud of.

Some days I still struggle, but on those rough days I remind myself of one simple truth:
✨ I’m stronger now, in my 40s, than I’ve ever been. ✨

Stronger in body.
Stronger in mind.
Stronger in the belief that it’s never too late to start showing up for yourself.

Here’s to progress, not perfection — and to every single person out there on their own journey. Keep going. You’re stronger than you think. ❤️

After having a recent chat with of for her upcoming podcast 🎙️ series it got me thinking about the days I was so easily prescribed anti depressants and just sent on my way. Is that the answer to tackle wellbeing and mental health?!

So…. Social Prescribing or Antidepressants — What’s the Best Way to Support Wellbeing?

More people than ever are struggling with low mood, stress, and a lack of confidence. But is medication always the answer?

Social prescribing offers another way — instead of being given pills, people are “prescribed” community-based activities that support wellbeing. Things like joining a creative group, gardening, volunteering, or taking part in a confidence-building theatre project.

It’s about treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. Helping people reconnect, express themselves, and build confidence through real human connection.

So here’s the question…
💬 Do you think social prescribing could be a better way to support mental health and confidence than relying on antidepressants alone?
